I had **** ****** with Summerset boat lifts come to my house at Lake of the ozarks was told I needed a new lift as mine had holes in the tanks.. I tole **** that was fine but I wanted to use my existing control box as Iit was replaced in June of 2019. He said that was fine.they came out three weeks later and replaced it. I was so happy because they had told me it would be four to six weeks before they could get parts and it was barley three weeks.I had paid down $5,500 and the bill I went by had a balance due of$5,609.05.I went to there office as soon as the guys finished with a check for the balance. You con see my signature on the original bill. At this point. I still did not have a parts list. Four days later i received a paid receipt and parts list. I was very much surprised.to see i had been charged for a control box I had not received. They owe me $759.00 Plus $56.00 sales tax.I called **** ****** and was given a run around. I went with this company because they had good reviews, Now I think I made a mistake. The lift is great and the young men who installed it were great as well., But I am not thrilled them trying to cheat me on this bill. I hope you con help me. Thank You Very Much.Business response

I spoke to Mr. ****** this morning, Friday, October 29, 2021.
I also spoke to **** ****** and the personnel responsible for doing our billing.
Mr. ****** and his salesman, **** ******, agreed to a price for a boat lift. That price did not include a control. The confusion arose when the billing department erred and included a control on the invoice. The amount invoiced was as agreed, it simply had a different “package” typed in the detailed description.
Upon discussing this fact with Mr. ******, he understood, agreed and was happy with our service and product.
I appreciate your efforts to protect our customers and look forward to the positive resolution of this complaint.
