I had made a decision to attempt to repair my 2006 Club Car Precedent at your Osage Beach facility based on your long term relationship with **** ****** **** **** ** ********** **, which I am a member. In the last week of April, I brought my cart to the Osage Beach facility to address a potential battery issue. I instructed them to test the batteries and if needed to replace all four 12 volt batteries. I had driven the cart into the facility with everything working well. I followed up several days later and was informed that a new resistor was needed. A few days after, I was informed that it was not the resister and a new controller was needed, which after consultation did not feel that was correct. I met with the manager and informed him to put in my old batteries and I'll pick it up. I went to Osage Beach facility and found out my batteries were not there anymore and witnessed exposed wiring on the front dash, and my driving light no longer worked. The general manager asked that I leave the cart with them and they would ship the cart to Ozark for repair. I agreed and did not hear from Ozark, MO for several weeks. I made a trip to Springfield, MO on Wednesday, June 7th to follow up with the service request. I met with ******, the service manager in Ozark, MO to determine the status of repair. He stated that they were not able to get to it yet. ****** was very professional and did what he can to fix my cart. He tested the batteries in the cart and I agreed to replace all four with new ones. My concern is that he stated that the controller had to be replaced. I and other cart specialist question that, I feel that the Osage Beach facility caused the problem and don't feel I am responsible for any charges other than new batteries. I believe ****** made arrangements to have everything wired correctly including lights. I have yet received the golf cart and the cart is still in Ozark, MO. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.Business response

Golf cart repair. Golf cart brought to dealer with complaint of difficulty starting. Golf cart returned to customer twice with no resolution of complaint. Dealer charged approx $1800 for parts and labor that were either unwarranted or charged for and not replaced. Customer after receiving cart performed diagnostics and repair of cart. All diagnostics and repair were recorded and pictured. Customer found the below list of items either not diagnosed or repaired and charged for.Fuel System: Dealer did not perform diagnostics on fuel system. Fuel system was found to be at least partial cause of difficulty starting cart. Pictures represent thick coats of old oil and dirt that indicate the system was not touched.Electrical system: Dealer charged for a rev ******* that was found to be the primary cause of the starting issue. The rev ******* was never replaced. Pictures represent a part that is covered in old oil and dirt. Dealer charged labor, diagnostic and part cost for this part that was not replaced.Battery. The dealer replaced a battery that they state "too large for cart". The battery was never a complaint of the cart and was operable for two years with no slow start, slow crank or other indication that would require replacement.Diode: Dealer charged for this part twice. Indicating that the diode was the cause of the issue. However pictures will indicate the dealer never traced lines, wires, or replaced parts that were in fact the cause of the issue.Starter/Generator: This part was not the cause of the issue. This part as documented by the video and pictures was not replaced. The part has a large amount of old oil and dirt covering the old part showing the item has not been disturbed. Wiring Harness: A wiring harness was charge to the customer. Pictures indicate some new spliced wiring on the cart. Pictures show dirt and old oil on a significant portion of the wiring harness indicating this part was never diagnosed and or replaced.
