He made a huge mess in my yard. There was at least 1 wheelbarrow full of concrete that was dumped in my yard. There is concrete splatter all over my fence, house, deck and hot tub. I didn’t notice until the next day when I was mowing the lawn, the rocks from the concrete where the wheelbarrow was dumped. I then noticed the concrete splatter on the fence, house and hot tub. I was able to clean it off of the hot tub, but the fence, deck and house I was not able to clean. I contacted Tim about the mess. I sent him pictures with the concrete splatter on June 5th and told him that I was disappointed that he left such a mess behind. He said “I can come by this evening and clean up better no excuse I should have done better I’m sorry.” On June 13th he said I’ll be by this afternoon. He did come by that afternoon and brought the paint cards. We looked at the options he had gotten from ******** ***** paint store. None of them matched the fence but we did find one that matched the house color. He said he was going back to the store and would be back later that evening. He did not show up. I have asked him several times about when he will be able to get this concrete splatter cleaned up and his response is that he is busy. He last told me that he would have it completed by this weekend (6/24), but now he is saying he was going to come this weekend while I am out of town and I told him I DO NOT want anyone at my house while I am out of town. Also, The top step is 9 inches tall, middle step is 8 inches tall and the bottom step is 6 ½ inches tall I am not at all happy with the patio with steps. He did pour a pad for my hot tub which I am happy with. A resolution to this issue would be for him to come and clean off the concrete splatter on my fence, house and deck. Or I can get someone to give me an estimate on cleaning up the mess and he can pay for it. I would also be happy with a refund of $1625 and then I will take care of the cleanup.

The work was completed and the consumer was satisfied and paid me. A few days later she called me stating a wheelbarrow had tipped over and left debris in her yard, I had thought my crew had cleaned it up. Customer satisfaction is very important to our company, acting in good faith I immediately went and thoroughly cleaned the area. The homeowner then started pointing out some concrete splatter she was not happy with, so again acting in good faith, I offered to paint, but we could not agree on a scheduled time for it to be done. The consumer then went out to social media and wrote negative reviews in an attempt to cause hardship to my company. We admit no fault in any poor workmanship and have been only acting in good faith to address her concerns. We  no longer wish to engage with the homeowner and will not offer any other repairs or services.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: What this person is saying is not completely true.  I believe this is his wife responding to my complaint and she does not know the entire story.  I never called him to complain about anything.  I always messaged him so I could keep track of what was being said.  On June 5th, the following day that he poured the concrete, I went out to look the entire thing over.  Yes I did pay him the previous day, but it was late in the day and I did not go out and look everything over.  They had been there until 6 pm that evening.  I told him on Facebook messenger, thank you for his hard work.  I told him that there were a couple of things I was not happy with including the entire wheelbarrow full of concrete that was spilled in my yard.  The guys helping him had already sprayed it but left all the rock in my yard and I cleaned it up.  There was no way he could have come back the next day and cleaned it up because it would have been dried.  There wasn't just a little bit of concrete splatter.  I sent him multiple pictures of the splatter all over my fence, decking, house and hot tub.  I was able to clean off the hot tub, but I was not able to clean it off the other spots.  He replied and said "I can come by this evening and clean up better I should have done it better I'm sorry".  He messaged me again on Jun 6th at 3:51 pm and said "I'll be by in about 20 mins".  On June 8th I messaged him and asked when did he think he would be by next.  I got no response.  The next day, June 9th I messaged him again.  He said, "Yes I cleaned everything up to the best of my ability as for the fence I was not able to scrub on it due to the pint wanting to come off".  I said "Oh ok. So you are finished then?" He responded "Yes ma'am" I said "Oh so what am I supposed to do about the fence? I am going to get an estimate on getting it cleaned up and I'll send you the bill." He said "if you would like for me to paint those panels I can" I said "That's fine. You can also buy the paint.  I don't have any of that color." He said "Since you have the paint if you could just send me a picture of what it is that would be nice and I will absolutely purchase it"  I said "I don't think I have any is what I'm saying.  It was painted before I moved in but I will look around to see if I can find any and send to you"  On June 10th I sad that I had looked around my house and couldn't find any of the paint."  He said "I will stop and pick up a paint card and we c an look at it together and then I'll buy the paint" I said Ok and he responded "My apologies again I'm truly sorry about this and I'm going to do my best to make it right." He then came by on June 13th with the paint card.  We saw one color that matched the house but nothing that matched the fence.  He took some paint chips off of the fence and house to match and said he would be back that evening, but never showed up.  On June 21st, I messaged him and said "Good morning.  It's been over a week since I've heard from you.  Any word on the paint situation? I would like to get this finished up!  BTW, I'm not sure how you measured the steps but they are a bit weird.  Bottom step is much shorter than the other 2 steps.  Top step is 9" tall, middle one is 8" tall then the last step is 6 1/2" tall.  It makes it very awkward to walk down.  I hadn't mentioned it before because I didn't realize it until this past weekend.  I had my family over and they all complained about how weird it was walking up and down the steps.  They felt it was a bit "off".  I realize nothing can be done about it now, but I wanted to tell you about it.  Please give me a date when you will be back here to finish up and get my house and fence cleaned up where the concrete is splattered. I would like to get this wrapped up" He responded "I've been busy I will get out there by this weekend" I said, "Ok. I will not be home staring Friday until next Wednesday.  I do not want anyone here while I am gone.  Then I will be out of town again starting next weekend for the week of July 4th" He responded with a thumbs up emoji.  On June 22nd, I messaged him and said "I'm assuming you will be here tomorrow evening.  Please let me know."  he said, "No I won't be I you will have to let me know when you get back" I said, " OK can I ask why? You said you would be here before the weekend." He responded, " No I said I would get it done by this weekend I have prior engagements the rest of this week in the evenings so my plan was to come there this weekend and it hasn't been a problem for me to come there before when you weren't there but now it is so if you could just get in touch with me when you get back" I said, "I was either going to be home the evenings you were going to be here or I didn't know you were going to be here. I am not going to be home at all and will be out of town and I don't want anyone here while I am gone. I don't know why you can't understand that. I paid you $5000 to do a job that as far as I'm concerned isn't finished. My job should be your priority. I'm sorry you don't see it that way. I will be contacting the BBB tomorrow and we can resolve it that way. I am also going to find someone to come and give me a bid on fixing the mess you left and believe me I will also posting it on the Pacific Facebook page. I have tried to be understanding. Even told you over memorial day to spend it with your family and this is what I get." He said "Also the contract said that you would pay when the job is complete which is what you did so good luck What I was doing was going out of my way"

These people are clearly lying about this entire thing.  I did go on Facebook to ward people about using them that they didn't do a good job.  I would like all of the $5000 I paid them for this patio because I am going to have to have it taken out and then redone.

      Sincerely,
