      I canceled service and stopped in the office and called several time because I keep getting billed. I was told they would issue a refund but that has not happened. They make it very difficult to get anything done online and by phone.

      This is from his account. Refund was sent takes about 2-3 weeks and he has no balance.

      Customer needs to give little more time for processing and mail.

      I had written them on 2/7/23 asking for their subscription rates so that I may subscribe to their newspaper since it covers the ********** area too. When I called them they must have a automated system as I'm unable to get through and the phone doesn't ring.

      I paid for a digital subscription. They limit what you can see. I subscribed for 6 months. I got a letter when it was close for the subscription to be over. They were going to charge me over $10 for the subscription. I called and they said they would extend it for 26 weeks for another $1. I agreed. 10/14 the $1 came out of my account. Two days later they charged me $10.99. I called again. I spoke to customer service in the Philippines. I asked them to cancel it and to refund my money. today I got a partial refund for $5.62.

      I have put in for another refund . What happened was the customer was refunded part of the money but was charged a $5.00 refund charge.

      I have fixed that and she will get a refund of that $5.00 in a couple weeks

      I took advantage of a special 3 month $5.00 subscription they offered about May or June of last year. I tried to cancel within the 3 mos. but no one their seems to be able to handle a cancellation. I have sent emails and spoken to the editor but the billings for $10.99 keep coming every month. ( If you didn't cancel within the 3 mos. the cost went to $10.99 per month.) Each month I have to contact by bank to dispute the credit card charge. One would think after all the chargebacks they would know something was not right but the billings keep coming every month. Please help!

      Good morning, I am with the Daily journal, and I responded to ****** ******’ complaint. We responded to him  via email on Friday, February 11th, 2022. We closed out his account and refunded any money that was still on his account. I apologized to him, and he said that as long as he does not receive another bill (which he should not since the account is now closed) he will be happy.
