I opened a savings account at this bank and deposited at a $31,500 check from selling my house. I was given a debit card and about a month after I started noticing that money was being taken out of my account without my knowledge from ***'s that I myself have never used. I filled fraud with the bank and the gave me provisional credits amounting to maybe $1500 while they conducted their investigation. Then a week later they came back and said that the transactions were authorized because they were made at places that I have shopped before in the past. I live in a small town so everybody has to shop at the same places because there isn't any other choice. And the took back the provisional credits that they gave me causing my account top drop into the negative that $1500. I asked to see the *** footage showing that it was me that withdrew the money(because I know it was not) And the lady at the bank told me that I could not see the footage because of confidentiality. But its MY account. Whose confidentiality are they trying to protect? Somebody was taking my debit card out of my wallet, had obviously seen me enter in the pin over my shoulder or something, and were going to the *** machine, withdrawling money and then putting my card back without me knowing it.I want the bank to actually do their job and show me the *** footage and then to give me back the money for the transaction that I did not do. So I basically got my money taken from me not once, but twice. The first time from someone else, then the second time from the bank.Customer response
