I spent $2,100 on new wheels and tires. I asked for a low profile tire for my Camaro. When I picked the car up it was close to their closing time and I was trying to load my old wheels and tires in my truck so they could go home in time. I drove home (2.5 miles) and parked the car in the garage where it has set since the wheels and tires were put on (transmission started slipping). I noticed a few days later the tire size was 235/50R18 when I wanted 235/40R18. I called them to see if this could be corrected and was told that I would have to spend another $312 on top of the $780 I already spent on the other tires and then they would take the set they put on originally and turn them in for warranty. Meanwhile I would have spent almost $1,100 on a $780 set of tires. I typically have never had issues with Purcell and they have always been courteous. I don't know if this is just a sign of the times we are living in where customer ********************** takes a backseat to profit in this current economy. I hope that this is not a on going business practice for this long time ********* business. Sad.

Bought my tires at the *** Tucson, AZ store. Had to take my car in three time because one of my tires kept leaking. They finally figured out it was leaking from a previous repair they did that shouldn't have been done while the tire was under warranty. It should have been replaced. They want me to buy a new tire from them because it now out of warranty when they're the reason why it's leaking in the first place. Took my business elsewhere and got 4 new of the exact same tire for less.

****** ** ******* They repaired a tire back when it was under warranty when it was a repair that shouldn't have been done. It should have been a new tire.Now the tire is flat. And out of warranty. They won't replace it even though they admitted that the tire shouldn't have been repaired back when it was under warranty.??
