I hired him to do my mowing, clean leaves out from around the house, and to put down mulch. I also hired him to put holes in the yard to drain the water, and to trim shrubs around the house. All he did was move the leaves from around of the house and they blew right back to where they came from, He was suppose to do the mulch around the trees but he used a skid loader. He blew the old mulch all over everything, He only trimmed one tree. behind my shed there is ********** and he took his skid loader and damaged the **********, he was doing donuts, he did not finish the mulch, nor did clean up the pavilion, he did not clean up the leaves, he ruined my driveway. I would like to be refunded in the amount of $2800.00 to straighten up the mess.Customer response

The amount should had been $2,700 instead of $2,800 that I am needing to get from Callahan Lawn Care LLC.

On 04/21/2023 Callahan Lawn Care LLC crew damaged and killed my young dogwood tree. On 4/24 I asked (******* Callahan) over the via email and by phone to either replace the Dogwood tree or pay for the cost of replacing it. He agreed that he would replace the tree the next time you serviced the yard. On 4/27 he asked if i was going to continue service for the whole summer and i said right now the plan was until the 1st of june if they replace my Dogwood tree that was damaged and after that would be depending on how the service was going, once again he said the crew would be replacing the tree on the next service visit. On 4/28 the company's crew serviced my yard, at that time someone from his company mowed over what was left of the tree then dug it up but did not plant anything in its place. On 5/1 I was charged $120.00 for the entire month of May (which I did not agree to since they still have not replaced my tree). On 5/3 I called to find out why they charged me for the entire month and ******* said that was the only way they can bill. I also asked when they were going to replace the tree again and he said the crew was going to replace it on the next service. On 5/6 your crew stopped by my house but could not get the back gate open so they did not service the yard and no one attempted to get a hold of me to resolve the issue. On 5/8 I contacted the company to find out why their crew did not service my yard and why the tree has not been replaced as they agreed to do. ******* then told me that the crew attempted to service my yard but due to a gate issue they didn't. I then canceled the service and requested a refund of the $120.00 back to my credit card that day and a more than reasonable price of $50.00 to replace the Dogwood tree your crew damaged and removed. The owner (******* Callahan) agreed that he would drop off the $50.00 in the mailbox for the tree and would refund me the $120.00 to my credit card that day. To this day I have received nothing.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference tocomplaint ID ********, I have not received word from the company since filing the complaint. I did receive a refund to my credit card for the month of service they did not complete but I have heard nothing about settling on the tree they killed. They can reach me by email I prefer they do not contact me by phone.
