Hello,I beg you please help me with this situation. ************** took a lot of my money for a job that he was doing and then he unfortunately DIED! Me (homeowner) and his subcontractors are in the dark when it comes to what to do next. We thought about filing a claim with his surety bond or insurance but we don't have access with his providers. We hired this company to do work at our house after a recent flood; he was supposed to put in steel doors. That&#**;s what he told us. The doors are not what is itemized in the contract. He told me that he would handle getting a permit for the work that was to be done but I just learned that he didn&#**;t do it. He didn&#**;t do some of the work as thoroughly as he told me he would: he only wiped down the duct work on the outside. Overall every bit of the work was done in a shoddy manner. The floors have not been completely refinished as he said he would. He chose laminate for the living room without our approval. The laminate that he put down is put down incorrectly--he used nails and that&#**;s not what the instructions say to do. As mentioned every part of the job has been done in an inferior manner. So far we have paid him $21, 750 plus additional for two more doors, $900. He took drapes to the dry cleaners and put them under my name without my permission. I told him that I didn&#**;t have money to pay for them, I was just going to put them away so they would stay clean while he painted.Business response

This is not a customer of mine. I spoke with the consumer and she admitted that it was for a Heinz Construction and not ******. This complaint should not be posted to my profile. Thanks.Customer response

I have not heard from the business, and the business has not resolved this issue.
