I made an appointment to have a Molar tooth extraction for Sunday, 5/29/2022 at noon. I was advised pricing would be $60 for an x-ray and $180 for the extraction to be performed. I get to the office qnd go back to a chair. As I was waiting to see the dentist his assistant stated they needed my card. I was bot aware they would be charging me full price BEFORE services were even performed nor did they make any statement about it. I did not find out until after the dentist refused the work to be performed. So as I was sitting the dentist came into the room with an attitude then proceeded to numb my mouth. Next thing I know he's snatching his gloves off in an aggressive manner then walks out without saying a word to me. I was advised by his nurse that I would need to go to a specialist and they will not refund my money. No X-ray was performed nor were any services yet they refuse to refund my money. I wanted all my money back.Business response

Patient ********* ********** was scheduled at our office on 5/29/2022, 12:00pm. Patient was examined and presented a treatment plan of charges that reflect D0140 $60.00 (exam) and D7210 $180.00 (surgical extraction), totaling $240.00. ********* signed the treatment plan and provided a credit card to use for payment. I have included both the signed treatment plan and the signed credit card receipt for payment. Patient in fact only received an exam so therefore a refund was due and processed for $180 on 5/30/22. I have included the refund receipt and the account notes along with a snippet of the account that shows a misc adjustment noted "DID NOT REC EXT".

I am rejecting this response because:
I WAS NOT given an exam. The entire encounter is recorded and shows how hostile the "dentist' was as well as refusing work to be completed on me.No exam was ever made/given/received. You are lying and I have all the proof. I am more than happy to get an attorney involved and have you cover all costs.Next I will release such actions to the public to show your unethical lies and excuses to charge people and never providing and services.Explain what you claim an exam to be because I know exactly what it entails and includes and on record WAS NOT DONE.I want my refund and filed a dispute with my bank for your falsified charges.
