I gave my dining table to Refurbished character to change the legs and refurbish the top. ****** the owner sent me the text message on April 1st indicating her dog has met an accident and she won’t be able to come today to deliver the table. Next day on April 2nd she texted me her truck got into an accident and she won’t be able to come today. Mean while she was working in my kitchen and showed me a buffet table which I was looking for. So I also purchased the buffet table from them and ****** the owner told me she will deliver both of the items by 6 pm on 4/14/22. Currently, she has blocked me from her Facebook business page and blocked me on her cell. I can’t get hold of her and don’t know how to get my dining table and buffet table from her.Business response

We are still owed $815. The complainant did not like the color she chose after working for over 82 hours at her home. (It’s not easy to tell a customer…are you sure…that’s going to look bad. But after sanding over 35 cabinets…confining them, and then staining EACH one to her specifications, they did not like the look of the kitchen and told us “we didn’t want The kitchen this dark, we are willing to pay half of the remaining balance.” That is NOT ok. This a MILLION dollar house that they have had at least two other contractors walk away from as they do NOT pay on time…or even in a remotely timely manner. Please warn other contractors This site is not allowing me to upload photo. Please advise. Please allow customer to see this rebuttal as I do NOT have her blocked.I just refuse to work for them again and will be following up for remaining balance.
