I hired this company to put a seat belt in my car, a few months after I went to move my seat and it would not move. This company unhooked the electric to my seat to replace the seat belt. they are now wanting to charge me $125.00 to reconnect the wires. They unhooked them and I should not be charged for them to complete the work I have already paid them to do.Business response

Mr. *** purchased the 2007 BMW, September 1, 2021, as is no warranty. In October, 2021, he called to complain about his seat belt buckle. We replaced it at no cost to him. His complaint states that he hired us to do the repair, which is inaccurate. In replacing the buckle, we did not have to remove the seat or do anything with the wiring. The power seat was working at that time. We did not hear anything from Mr. *** until July of 2022, approximately 8 1/2 months after we replaced the buckle.It is important to note that the 07 BMW was involved in an accident in March of 2022 according to ******. Perhaps this may have contributed to his power seat issues. We did make arrangements with Mr. *** to look at his car and did so on July 19. There are no broken wires to his seat. We suspect that a fuse is blown, but neither party had time to explore. Mr. *** is to bring the car back for further inspection, but no promises are made on the ability for us to fix.I believe we have gone above and beyond the terms of the sale and do not feel that we are responsibe for his seat issues. We try to help everyone and maintain a good reputation, however, it is hard to please everyone, especially 8 1/2 months after the fact.Thanks and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.***** ******** ******* ***** ******* *** *** **********
