I had a personal loan through ******. In March of 2024 SST started either started handling or bought my loan. When this happened, I made payment to SST. In May of 2024, I was in the process of buying a house and the bank paid off my loan, and I made a regular payment on my loan. Hence, my loan was overpaid by apparently 915.78. My record actually show that the account was overpaid by 969.74. Either way, it is now 6/17/2024. I have yet to receive my refund. They are 1st of all collecting interest on my money. I actually would like to be paid the interest as well as my money owed.

      To Whom This May Concern:

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment processing
company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and expeditious manner.
SST has no ownership in these accounts nor does it purchase loans; it is merely the servicer.

We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:

      On January 26, 2022, ***** ******* signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** loan (“the
Contract”) financing $30,500.00. According to the Contract, *** ******* agreed to make 36 monthly
payments of $969.74, beginning on February 26, 2022. On December 9, 2023, the Account was assigned
to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing.

At the time of servicing transfer, the Account had a balance of $12,718.17 and was due for the December
26, 2023 payment. Multiple payments were made on the Account since the transfer. The last payment
of $9,198.20 was received on May 3, 2024. This left a credit balance of $915.784 due to *** *******.

Please know there is normally a 15-day clearing period for a final payment before any funds are released.
It may also take 3 to 5 business days to complete the funds transfer and get the Account completely
      closed out.

*** ********* refund of $915.78 was requested on June 14, 2024 and sent to her on June 17, 2024.

If *** ******* has any further questions or concerns, she may contact SST Customer Service directly at

My original personal loan was transferred from ************** to SST and I made the final payment in full on 5-7-24. SST told me that it would take 15-20 business days for the account to fully close and for near $900 in overpayment to be refunded to me. I called on the 15th business day and the 20th business day. I called on 6-7-24 and 6-8-24 and spoke with two different supervisors "****** and *****" and both said the same thing which was that they had no control over the closing department but would escalate the request for the account to close and the money to be refunded. My resolution is for the account to be closed, the credit bureau to be updated, and the money returned.

Both Accounts are paid in full and reflect zero balances.

I had taken out a personal loan in 2020, over the phone with Goldman Sachs, and the interest rate was already high with a 774 Credit Score. No matter, I've made consistent, automatic payment withdrawals, and then found out my loan was sold a few months ago to SST. I've contacted them a few times regarding a payoff amount, and they would give me a number higher than the actual remaining amount, and was still including the interest for 15 months remaining, within my payoff! I have asked for a return phone call back, and the poor girl, with whom I was speaking with was unable to understand my question, or the mathematics involved. On hold numerous times, past and present, no answers, told I am going to receive a call back from a managing supervisor, no one calls back, office closed. Etc! These people are not honest or forthcoming, and I would never want this group handling my finances as they have had a horrible reputation in the past, as this has happened with this company before, in the 90's. I want to pay the balance left in full in the amount, which actually should be $4105.00! Thank you for any assistance in this matter.

This debt collector engaged in abusive, deceptive, and unfair practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didn't agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it. More so, they didn't follow the proper procedure in notating my dispute of the account, which is a direct violation of 15 USC ********, which makes this unfair practices. According to the FDCPA I’m entitled to 1,000 dollars per violation and clearly they violated my rights. I demand this company to delete this account from all 3 credit reporting agencies and compensate me for the violations or I will have no choice but to forward this to my litigation attorney who has advised me that the fact that they didn’t notate my account on my credit report as “consumer disputes” as a violation that I am able to sue them under.

I had two vehicles taken to this business to have car windows tinted. 4 months later the tint peeled off on the Honda Civic ($275). At first, they were going to honor the lifetime warranty but then i discovered problems with the other vehicle's window tint as well. I paid $175 for the GMC Acadia. Both were not tinted to the exact specifications as requested. lighter than supposed to be. Managment was very rude and I asked for a refund and did not feel comfortable taking my care there. I sent the photos requested and have not had any response since May 10, 2024. I would like a full refund to go somewhere else that can fix the problem.

My personal loan through Marcus by ******* ***** got transferred to SST. I made a lump sum payment on April 1, 2024 based on the payoff amount listed on the website. Received confirmation email stating they received it. Understanding there is likely a few more dollars to make the account clear, I tried to log on to find out. I can no longer get on the website. I have not received an invoice since I made final payment. No contact whatsoever from SST since I made the April 1 payment. When I try to contact customer service (833-870-0540), no options are provided for me as the consumer. The automated message simply tells me the last payment received and then states, "the payoff for this loan is" [ ] and then the call disconnects every time. I am never given an option to hear the payoff or speak to a representative. I tried calling another phone number I found for SST customer service and they tell me they can't help me and transfer me to the other number I already called. Tried asking how I can speak to a representative and he tells me he doesn't know. He was under the impression he was transferring me to a representative. I just want a final payoff and this account to show as closed on my credit report.

SST refuses to give answers on where my $1354.00 money is. They continue to lie and blame the bank. I have spent all week attempting to get answers. They put me on hold for over an hour, customer service tried to make excuses that they know nothing. Yet they provided a receipt of my payments. This was a borrow and grow loan that I paid in full April 4th, 2024. The receipt also from April 24, 2024 States I had to wait another 2-3 business days. Meaning my funds should have been in my checking account on April 26, 2024. It’s now May 3rd. They won’t even confirm if the ACH payment was started. I want my overdraft fees of $ 75, plus interest of $ 68 and a $ 60 penalty in addition to my $1354 they owe me. For a total of $1557 due today May 3rd 2024. If deposit is not received today a daily fee of $ 6.00 will be accessed and owed to me from SST.
