On 1/7/21 a representative of Hunters Lawn Care gave us a $600 estimate to remove a tree limb that had fallen on a neighbor’s garage during an ice storm. I was told if I signed the estimate, they would remove the tree within a few days. On 2/3/21 workers removed the limb. There were no logos on the vehicles, but we assumed Hunters had followed through. We called their office and spoke with ******, who instructed us to deliver a $600 check to the mailbox outside the office. The check was cashed by our bank on 2/16/21. In conversation with our neighbor, it was revealed that another company had actually removed the limb, which had been paid for by him. We have called Hunters and explained the situation too many times to count (more than 10) over these many months, and they never get back to us as they say they will. We have been told we would be contacted by the bookkeeper or by other clerical staff, but we have not received a single call back. We have provided copies of all the documentation as they requested, dropped by the office but were unable to enter as the front door was locked, contacted them by email, and lastly by text. This has been going on for far too long. We are asking that they return the $600 we gave them for work they did not do.Business response

This refund was sent/mailed out on 11/24/21. We only have record of this person calling 1-2 times (not 10 as suggested) and it took us some time to verify with our bank that it had been cashed by our account.Customer response

Consumer is satisfied with this response as long as they receive a check. Consumer is currently out of town so they have not checked their mail.
