I drove my car to ******* Auto because it was running hot and they told me I needed a water pump. I left the car there, they ordered the part, as they were doing the work they discovered it was something else wrong with it. When I came back to check on the car, it would not start. I went to look at the car, they were pushing it an it would not start, with wires everywhere. They could not figure out the problem so they towed the car to ****. This process took several weeks, I have been a month without a car. Before they towed the car, they were apologetic, when I called to see what the problem was they told me I needed to talk to ****. They towed it from **** and dropped it in front of my house. I paid them **** and the car is in worse shape that when I left it.Customer response

The driver broke my driver door and the company will not give me their insurance .information this is destruction of property.and I will press charges if needed. I called all day 10/10/23 trying to get the information. And they charged me for the tow.Business response

**** ******** called ******* **** back talked to him about the damaged door offered to tow the vehicle back to our body shop and replace the door. This vehicle should be ready at the end of this week and I will deliver the truck back to address when it is completed. They were only suppose to charge me 89 dollars to tow my truck from **** to my house and they never showed up to tow my car. There were no phone calls or communication and I was told that they would call me back to discuss this incident and they never did. I have a police report to attach to this if needed. They sold my truck illegally and My husband has lost his job because of this. I spoke with someone on Monday and was promised a call back which again never happened.Business response

We were called to ***** at **** ** ************ on 3/4/23 to pick up a 91 Dodge Dakota pickup truck to tow it to **** ******. My driver showed up at *****, hooked it up, and towed it to **** ******. We got in front of the address and my dispatcher ******** called the customer numerous times and there was no answer. ******** then called the driver and had the driver knock on the door. No answer. My dispatcher ******** called back and left a detailed message on their voicemail and stated because there was no answer at the door or telephone, that the vehicle would be towed back to Hartman's Towing yard and they will now owe for two tows with storage. It was towed back here on 3/4/23. The dispatcher called 3/8/23, 3/24/23, 4/4/23 after the car was here 30 days, and 4/24/23. Still no answer. We scrapped the truck in on 4/28/23. The customer called us 5/1/23 to find out about the truck and then we received a letter from the BBB after we told her the truck was no longer here. The condition of the truck was very poor, full of trash, and the driver's window would not go up. ***** told us it had a bad motor. My concern is why did they wait almost 2 months to call on this truck. The only reason we towed it back here was because we needed payment from them at the drop off point of $85.
