I dropped my car off in Dec 2022 to be fixed. I knew what the problem was already because i had taken it to the dealer first. I needed a timing chain. So i had them check it they said the same thing without me telling what I already knew. The guy said we get this problem with GMC all the time so i know what to do. First we will try to do this if that does work we will have to fix the timing chain but usually this works( cant remember exactly what is was that they were to do). I had called about my car i would be put on hold from anywhere between 30-60mins and i would just hang up. I was traveling out of town Dec 23 and I still hadnt heard anything back so i got a ride there. I told him i was goin on vacation for 2 weeks he said ok we have the part in showed it to me. I came back still didn't hear back for the month of January. February I went back up there. My car was never touched. the paperwork for my car was sitting right in front saying i basically needed a new engine . Nobody had called or said anything about my car all that time. The new manager said he didnt even know my car was there. I guess they got rid of the other manager said he was stealing money and supplies. At this point my car isnt even starting and I drove my car there it was running fine. so He said they check to see what the problem was with my car. my car sat there not being started or anything and my car is completely not working. I asked the manager to have the owner er to call me I havent received a call yet. So basically they are saying I need a new engine and did not give me any other options or didint try to compensate me or anything.
