I had them put a whole muffler system in my vehicle. Instead of putting it in correct;y, they welded everything together, sold all the equipment I had to put on my vehicle, and sold my equipment, they tampered with my motor and took my catalytic converter lock off. I am going to leave it here at ***** because I am not taking it back to them to repair it. I want them to pay for this repair.Initial Complaint

12/20/2021 I took my car to Meineke days and for a belt broke and told them possibly my water pump they had my car a couple days and finally called back and said my bolt was broke and that they’ll see what they can do. Days later nothing back from them so I decided to call them this when he said a bolt broke mind you in the meantime he has called my warranty company and canceled all the work on my car so I asked him what’s going on with my car he told me did nothing to my car took all the dirk he did back off my car?? because he had told me a pulley would cost me $95 this the 2nd day I think I’ll have to check my phone records I told him fine so then he tells me there’s nothing he can do because. Come to find out he wanted more money to pull my engine for a bolt he broke and wanted the warranty people to pay him to pull my engine. Very unprofessional liars that messed my dang near brand new car up and now not taking responsibility for a bolt they broke. I have my car at another shop and he’s saying it’ll cost maybe $1500 to pull the engine to maybe get the bolt out when this out of my pocket I don’t have it! This a pro Meineke caused they shouldn’t jus get to get away from paying these costs. This ridiculous my bolt wasn’t broke until I took it to them! He took my water pump off too my warranty company has all the notes meineke told them they broke the bolt I don’t have the bill yet from the new repair shop otherwise I’d post it to this letter after the new year I’ll have it !Business response

The consumer brought the car in and said that someone else had been working on it. We took the car in and did an assessment. We found that the bolt to the water pump was broken. We immediately called the consumer and her warranty company about the car's status. The customer asked asked us to try to get the bolt out and we couldn't. We called her back and told her that we could not get the bolt out and therefore could not make the repair. She would have to take the car somewhere else.Initial Complaint

On June 22nd, 2021, I called Meineke to inform them the young man was there and had put my car on the tow truck, someone said that the lot was full and he could not accept the car, the driver called down there and since he had loaded it on the bed he could bring it down, once it got down there it took two more days for them to look at it they inform me of all what was wrong I agreed to being fix after fixing all Larry calls and state that antifreeze was leaking somewhere I agreed to that after $1,253.61 later and my daughter picking up the car, my hot gauge start going up, she took it back down there and another mechanic told her "the lot was full and she could not leave it", I informed her to bring my car back to Marshall, Mo, and stop wait a hour if it over heat, once here I had to put it back in shop, to have a hose that had a pin hole in it replaced and before I had that hose replaced I have no heat I had heat before it went to meineke, my car had been in shop twiceBusiness response

She did not allow me to look at the vehicle, I told her that I couldn't look at it right at that moment and she told me that she couldn't because she had to be somewhere.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: my daughter had taken the car back twice I even called him myself I had even filed with their corporate office, with no results I have had my car in the shop twice from their mistake and they knew when something else was leaking after they supposedly had fix the problem and they charged an additional 300.00 which didnt fix it, now I have a crack head gasket and the serpentine belt they supposedly put on has cracks in it which I sent a picture of
