I was charged $1300 labor for Austin transmission to put a used transmission in my 2013 dodge dart I was under the assumption that they knew how to remove and install the transmission but they did not and how I found out they did not know how to do what they said they could do is because they didn’t have the tool to reset the clutch on the transmission. I don’t know how they got the transmission back onto the flywheel but they did in along with doing so they damage the transmission that transmission was purchased in Kansas City for $2400 for grand total of $3700 , I want them to be held responsible and replacing the transmission plus their labor because if he didn’t know what he was doing, he should’ve never offered to except the job along with that I called him to let him know that my car was being towed to the dealer since he didn’t know what was going on or he couldn’t reset the computer because of him not having the special tool Once he got to the dealer, the dealer informed me that whoever installed a used transmission broke the transmission along with breaking the transmission. They also broke the fly wheel so long with that now I’m gonna be almost out of $5000 in repairs attempted to go talk to *** over at Austin transmission , I also contacted the location over at Manchester they said they had no recollection or information where I could speak to someone higher up to have my problem resolved. I went to talk to *** at Austin transmission. He got hysterical raised his voice I would like to be reimbursed for my $3700 or them reimbursing me my $1300 plus a replacement transmission.
