Two weeks ago I visited my loved ones grave and couldn’t find him. I looked high and low but had to resort to remembering those who surrounded him. Come to find out, his tombstone had been passed over for months. Which, led to dirt and very high grass to cover him. I had to dig with my bare hands to uncover what was once there. The next day I called to put in a request to have it cleaned; the lady said they would get it taken care of and call me once it’s up to par. Today I realized they haven’t called me back and so I called them wanting an update. I learned that they haven’t touched the site since the last time we’ve talked. It’s very heartbreaking as my loved ones birthday is coming up and I want it to be presentable when family arrives to celebrate him. I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m a burden … no one else should feel that way either. But reading reviews and feedback I see that I am not alone sadly. Please help to get this issue taken care of. This grave site was cleaned up within 10 days of receiving the complaint. Grave site is for ****** *****, Section **, Lot ***, Grave *. I'll provide BBB with a photo of the grave taken today.Initial Complaint

I recently buried a love one on February 4th. I picked a plot. I could not find them when I visited the grave. We have put flowers on the wrong grave. We have placed flowers and items on a grave that was not of the person we buried. They continued to remove flowers from where I thought my mom was at. They were unable to locate my mothers grave. I do not know where my mom is when I visit there.Business response

**** ****** Grave at Lake Charles Park Cemetery.***** * *** ** ***** **Please see attachment belowAttached is a diagram of the plot layout. There does seem to be some confusion on the part of the family as to where their loved one is buried. We believe this confusion is that the consumer was putting flowers at the center point of the plot (see diagram), when that point is used as a reference for counting. We have explained this to them. The flowers in question were flowers we provide for free and were on the correct grave.
In addition, on occasion visitors do move flowers, but this is out of our control.

I am rejecting this response because:
We were not confused we were directed by staff to the center point & free flowers were still not placed at correct location, grave personnel is who remived them from foot of grave to top & advised that was her location, so as advised we have been provided 3 locations to date by the cemetery not that we went to wrong location we were directed to these spots. No one takes accountability nor apologies & the owner has yer to reach out to our grieving family. This is vert unprofessional & unorganized & we would like our mother removed at the expense of Lake Charles….
