We bought a plaque and had it engraved and placed it on my mother**;s grave in July 23**;. It was in the vase in a flower pot on the headstone. We were told that since the flower vase was built into the headstone it would be fine. When we went to visit last week we noticed the plaque was goneBusiness response

I am aware of this particular concern and have personally spoken to someone in the family that called on ******************** behalf, although I did not speak to **************** personally. I explained that each year during the month of February we clean the cemetery. A sign is posted near the entrance in advance of the cleaning. This cleaning includes removing all decorations and items from the ****** whether the decoration is allowed or not. It's the only time each year we clean the cemetery, unless decorations become unsightly, weathered or tattered or they do not meet the rules and regulations of the cemetery. Outside of the most traditional grave decorations, for example, artificial flower bouquets and stems or wreaths, we encourage families to not place anything of emotional or monetary value as we cannot guarantee such items. Families are encouraged to come and remove any decoration(s) they want to keep before the removal starts in February otherwise, it will be discarded. This includes anything placed in permanent or temporary vases on the ******.
