Reinhold Electric's service representative ********************* replaced fluorescent bulbs in the over-head lights in the basement, replaced the ballast in one unit, and installed a remote light switch. He performed this service in 2 hours and charged $461.70 including parts. ***** was very proficient, courteous, and cleaned up the small mess that he made. I would recommend Reinhold to anyone who needs electrical work.

Great service. The power in my home went out and I contacted this company on the weekend. By 9:15 a.m. on Monday morning, the estimator was already at my home. 2 days later the electrician came out and worked for 1.5 days. This was the best contractor service that i have ever had.

They are garbage. They flooded my basement and denied it. I went with them because they are not a fly by night company. My mistake! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!! They deny everything and do not return calls once the damage is done. When tax season came along they didnt give me a receipt. I spent $4300 to upgrade my electrical panel. Zero response. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY WILL BAIL ON YOU.

Its refreshing to deal with a company that stands up and does the right thing. Nearly one year ago a subcontractor working for Reinhold Electric drilled in the wrong location on our surface parking lot attempting to prepare a site for a new ******* communications tower and perforated our garage roof. The Park Tower Condominiums had no choice but to fix the $ ****** damage immediately in order to prevent further damage and leaking. We have spent the last year unsuccessfully trying to retrieve our damages from the subcontractor or his insurance company. When Reinhold learned of the problem they arranged to split the damages with the subcontractor and when the subcontractor didnt fulfill their part, ********************* from Reinhold claims department, advocated for us and they assumed the entire burden and made us whole. ***** and Reinhold should be acknowledged for doing the honorable and ethically correct thing. If you are looking for an honest reasonably priced business, Reinhold is it. My story says it all, I think. I believe in patronizing small, family businesses so when I needed to have a pendant light over my kitchen island fixed I searched Thumbtack and found "***** Electric". I contacted them and they gave me a date they could come out. I immediately inquired "how much do you charge to come out and give an estimate, and if I hire you will the service charge be applied to the repair?" I got a message back, "no charge for us to come out." The guy from ***** came when scheduled and I showed him the light needing repair. He looked up at it and said "do you mind if I look around your house?" In response to my inquiry of "why" he said "to see if any other repairs are needed or if you have any code violations." I told him I was not interested in any repairs except to the light. He immediately responded that he had a meter or gadget of some type that he "could hook up to the light fixture itself for a cost of $179," and then stated "if I have to climb a ladder that will cost more." The base of the fixture cannot be reached without a ladder so, of course, he would have to climb one! I asked him to leave. I then called Reinhold. They clearly explained they would charge $108 to come out, but that was for 1 hour of their time and extra cost would apply only if the diagnosis/repair took longer than one hour or there were needed parts. I agreed to pay the $108 immediately. When "***" showed he looked at how the light would not illuminate when the switch was turned on, declared he thought he knew what it was, climbed the ladder and removed the light fixture, did something to the wiring, rehung it, and turned the light on. IT WORKED! It took him no more than 30 minutes from the time he walked in my door until he walked out. He was kind, patient, and conversive in a manner that I knew what he was saying. Thank you ***.
