On 6/1/23 - I hired Promodel Flooring, LLC. (***** **** - Owner) to refinish my hardwood floors. He did an ABSOLUTELY horrible job. There are dark patches and line stains all over the floor. When I complained about the finished job, he said that he would redo the floor and no additional charge but never returned. He is not answering my texts or calls. He charged by debit card for the entire amount of the job up front when he was only authorized to charge half.Business response

Promised Flooring LLC has tried to contact the customer to finish up the job but haven't gotten a response. We would like to complete what we started but had no intention of changing any color. Promodel Flooring LLC and the customer agreed on us finishing up job with customer paying for the first set of material cost and we will pay for the second set of material cost that we will need to complete jobCustomer response

The contractor did NOT make a good faith effort to finish the job. I was unable to reach him for three days as he blocked my calls. Hey contacted me via text AFTER I filed a complaint with BBB. His text at that time stated "I have been caught up on some family issues. I can come by tomorrow morning to resand and put down a different color coat of stain."
After the non-professional way he handled the matter and the horrible job on my floors, I did not trust him. He intentionally charged my debit card the total amount when he was only authorized to charge half up front and the remaining once completed.
