********** and ****** Contracting promised the world and delivered low quality garbage. ****** is the parent company for ********** (it's all the same family run business). **** repeatedly reassured us he'd work with our insurance to optimize payout for our water-damaged home in order to make us whole, then installed the lowest quality replacement materials available. ****** agreed to replace our carpeting with something on par with the 60oz face weight carpet that was there before, then installed a 24oz face-weight carpet while we were out of town (we have proof). His excuse was he's not a carpet guy so he doesn't know the difference. During his first week on the job, he told us he'd spent $7K on materials. When we asked for the receipt for our records, he would only show a pic of the total (no itemized list of products purchased). We later found a copy of the full receipt and learned he'd added $1k+ in materials for someone else's project and sent us the bill. And finally, he repeatedly pointed out to us and our insurance adjuster that our cabinetry was better than average so that we would receive a higher allowance to replace it. He negotiated for more cabinetry money by providing a bid with a secretive sub-contractor who replaced our "higher end" cabinets with the lowest grade kitchen cabinets and vanities made. Only 3/8" thick particle board sides even though our cabinets had thick plywood end caps and 3/4" wide walls. They also replaced several cabinets that had expensive four-drawer configurations with basic single drawer cabinets, yet no money from the insurance estimate was refunded to us. Basically, our kitchen got a huge downgrade in quality after **** had collected the payout; he treated it like his own personal bonus rather than replacing like for like. When confronted, he admitted to the carpet and cabinetry downgrades ( by blaming his subcontractors), then stood us up for our meeting to resolve the issues. Contract Breached.

Thank you for facilitating this. Our problem has gotten worse. The business owner, **** Glasener, has informed us that if we sue him for damages, he will just declare his business bankrupt rather than pay what he owes my mom. He also said that he has 5 other business from which to continue operating his scams.  We forgot to mention in our complaint that the client is really our 90 year-old mother, *******. The house and insurance are in her name, and she was forced to be present for the contract signing. ****** is committing this fraud against an elder person.  **** admitted to us today (and previously) that we did not get the quality of materials that we paid for.  The work is substandard, the materials are lowest quality and the lies keep compounding.  Now ****** tell us he is ready to declare bankruptcy and just use a different name. He even recently formed a new LLC a week ago in order to transfer over all his assets.  We would love to go to binding arbitration ASAP.
      Regards
      ****** *****
