contacted ****, The Grab Bar Guys, the end of September 2021 and presented him with a list of projects. The big problem was the non-skid floor on the ramp. He used roof sheeting. The more I used it with a walker the more it broke up into little pebbles and drug thought out the house damaging our new LVP. Two contractors suggested we remove the roofing material and paint it with an outdoor non-skid paint. It cost us $600 over the $2600 we paid him. I emailed and texted him the $600 invoice to repair the ramp as a back charge. The only reply I ever received from him ask which email address I sent it to and at what address he installed the ramp. My opinion, very disorganized.?I felt I was being generous by not asking him to also pay for repairs to the flooring.?To date no other response. I needed approval from the HOA to make modifications. He was to meet with a board member to review the proposal. I felt **** was very rude and disrespectful to this well-educated and knowledgeable woman. He told her the board had no choice but to approve it because of ADA. **** had arrived with his dog is his truck it barked and yapped the entire time he was here. Before he arrived to take measurements he asked me to send him a copy of the bid as he could not find it. He again brought the barking dog. He kept telling me the ramp should go down the middle of the garage when I wanted a landing with a 90 degree turn to go down the side of the garage. When he came was to install outside rails, grab bars and the ramp his "crew" did not arrive until late in the evening and brought a child. He brought his dog and smelly cigar. His dog was allowed to run free in a community with strict leash laws. We left and allowed him to work in the garage providing he stopped work by 8:30. He told me he worked until 10:30, but the neighbors did not mind. (Not according to the neighbors). He once again brought the dog and allowed it to roam the neighborhood and to run free in my house.

We had approval from the HOA on the indoor ramp and the outdoor handrail.  After we were finished with the ramp, she wanted to change it.  The ramp is covered with a non-skid surface that she didn't like and she wanted us to change it.  We had her approval when we put it in.  She then changed it and sent us a bill for it.

I would like the complaint to be reopened.  Their reply is not accurate.  They did not have my approval to remove the items.  I told him that I did not want them back.  He ruined $14000 worth of flooring due to using roof shingle material.

She paid me in full.  She didn't complain about anything until six months later.  We showed her in advance the high traction finish at first.  We had to submit a drawing of the rails before we could start the job and we had to get it approved.
