Date of service September 20, 2021 continuing as job not complete. Install irrigation system at *** ****** ***** ****. I am asking for $700.16 due to damages to lawn, repair of, unexpected expense of electrical work, unexplained materials charge, replacement and relocation of drainage pipe and expenses incurred by an unknown plumber. Mr. ********* was hired to install the irrigation system. He claimed to own a company that installs irrigation systems and has extensive experience. ***** is a neighbor and a friend. ***** claimed on numerous occasions that he could install my system for "well under $5000". Further, ***** claimed he would install a professional system that would rival any company and save me money. I chose ***** because of the money as I am now retired, and being a friend and neighbor, I could trust his work and honesty. ***** began the installation , along with **** of ****** ******** *******. The job began with pipe installed underground which caused a tunnel in the lawn. The grass is to be placed back over the small tunnel and a machine to go over the tunnels to flatten grass back in place.. The tunnels are throughout the yard. ***** did not do this phase of installation. He left the grass pulled out of yard to die and did not cover the tunnels. He did not fill in holes from the tunneling nor around any of the equipment dug into the yard. When I requested he fix the situation, he laughed and told me not his job-that it was mine. A licensed plumber was to install backflow system. ***** contracted a plumber he had worked with for many jobs. When plumber was working at my house, I discovered from the plumber he did not know *****, never worked with him, did not know how got name. ***** installed electrical box incorrectly, requiring electrician. Charged for materials not needed and did not inventory materials for job which I paid for. He installed plumbing which not qualified . Many other problems too numerous to write.
