    I purchased a "NuStep" exercise machine from US MED REHAB in St. Louis MO on in October 2021. With the promise of a 2 week free delivery I was so glad to prepay over $7,000 for the machine. The 2 weeks ended up being 3 months! The first machine was damaged due to the truck carrier having an accident. The company did not come out and tell me of the problem -- after weeks of phone calls and emails inquiring as the where my machine was I was finally told the accident. I let them know that I wanted a different (new) machine delivered. They agreed and it took another 5 weeks for that delivery. Over this issue they also promised an extended warranty to compensate. Upon receiving the unit on January 6, 2022 - it was damaged and we notified them that day and sent photos by email. Another problem developed quickly as they said to go ahead and use the machine -- the arm function seems to be out of alignment or other and isn't comfortable to use. They agreed to order a part to fix the broken piece from delivery and address the arms on the machine. It took until the end of January to work out them agreeing to fix it and how we would do that. They ordered a part and it arrived at our house at the end of February with no word from anyone about how it was to be installed, etc, We called them a couple of times during that next week to ask what we needed to do and no one called us back. 2 weeks ago we called every day Monday through Friday and left a voice mail on 2 different extensions that we needed a call right away to get some direction about our repairs. Last week we just gave up and didn't call them at all. I tried them today and they returned my call off the voicemail. They claim that they couldn't get an order to their service dept. until we let them know that we had the part. We tried many, many times to reach them with no answer, or returned call off voicemail. I asked "**** ********" about all the messages from 2 weeks ago and he said he did not receive them. ??

    I ordered a Bariatric 24" Commode, 650lb Weight Capacity ($128.95) on 12/11/23 from US Med Rehab and received it on 12/15/23. I realized the seating was too wide for my mother who is 87 y/o and 5'4 short. I called immediately on Dec. 20th through *********** Services (VRS) for deaf callers through a sign language interpreter to inform the US Med Rehab customer office that the toilet seat wasn't fitting my mother's height and the seat was too wide and needed to be returned and refunded. I explained that the toilet seat was in excellent, unused, unwrapped condition, also, this seat hadn't been used at all. They agreed and said to ship it back in the same box that I received and, I shipped it on Friday, Dec 22, 2023, at a local *** store in *************, **********. Then I got a call from the US **************** on December 29th that they couldn't refund me due to a hair in the box and a fine scratch in the bowl. This is a NONSENSE!!! Please help!

    Our return policy is very clear. You can not return opened commodes. You told us the commode was not opened and not used when trying to return it. This was not the case. The commode was opened and returned in non resale condition. We can not except a commode for return if we cant verify it was not used. That would be disgusting. We can not accept returns where we can not verify that there has not been ***** matter on the device. The device shows up wrapped in plastic. This was taken off. We can not accept this. This is clearly stated in our return policy. We explained all of this to you. There was not just a hair in the box. There were many long black hairs all over the commode itself. It was scratched up and not in the same condition it was received. Surely you understand why we can not accept this.
