I went under contract with *****************, under the name of First Choice Plumbing. He was hired to pull permits and do plumbing for a bathroom addition. I paid him $2,000 to start the project on July 1. He installed the plumbing, and left heavy bags of trash at my home, and had to come back to reconnect a pipe that he overlooked. On July 28, I paid him another $2,000 after he had the city inspector come out to pass his work. I found out (after calling the *****************) that **** actually applied for the plumbing permit for my home under the name BC Plumbing, not First Choice Plumbing *************). After the inspection, and once the bathroom was built out, **** was supposed to come back to install the fixtures and pull the final permit. He has not responded to multiple calls or texts since August regarding the remainder of our contracted agreement. I last tried to reach out to him in October. My calls have gone straight to voicemail. He has not responded to any attempts for completion of the work. I am also confused as to why he pulled the permit under a different company's name. He's not the easiest to work with, he's rude, and his crew is messy, the least he could do is be responsible and complete the agreed upon work.Business response

Good evening we received your complaint. It sounds like your complaint is with ***************** and not B.C.Plumbers , considering you didnt enter into a contract with us. I did reach out to ***************** to rectify the issue with you. From what I was told youve stated that you did not want him to continue the job. If you want **** Plumbers to finish up for you, please give us a call at ************, we will gladly help you out. **** Plumbers permitted the job so you can get an inspection, however were not aware of the business end between you and Mr. ******************************************************************

Better Business Bureau:
This business is correct. My contract is with *****************. **** has worked swiftly and professionally to resolve this issue. We have decided to dissolve our contract and absolve both parties of future responsibilities.
I want to also note that although ************ was unresponsive as stated in the original complaint, after speaking with him, I realize that he did not leave the trash as I originally stated (I found out another contractor did). He actually removed all of his trash from the premises, and he did fix the stack rather quickly, along with a few issues he identified.
