Refrigerator water line was leaking. Beetz plumber said it was the dishwasher. It was not. He broke dishwasher and left. Leak continued and hardwood floor buckled. Beetz later sent another plumber who pulled refrigerator out and tore up kitchen wall and paint. He turned off the water shut off valve in basement and left. Charge was in excess of $600 with no resolution. I hired another company that installed new water line. This is what Beetz should have done. I want my money refunded and Beetz to pay for damages to my kitchen wall and floor.Business response

The customer told us there was a leak on the dishwasher. We checked all the plumbing drain connection and water connection. Both were dry. No leaks at the kitchen sink drain or faucet. The wood floor was swelled up and we could not move the refrigerator. The homeowner then told us the refrigerator was recently delivered and installed by another company. It turned out that they had a leak behind the fridge, that caused all the damage. Homeowner was going to call the appliance company that installed the fridge. After the customer received his bill, he called me and said we damaged his wall when we removed the refrigerator. I told him we did NOT remove his refrigerator, we could not get that appliance to move an inch because of the swelled up flooring, that was the other company. We did not break the dishwasher. The customer never even mentioned a problem with the dishwasher until now. We shut off the water and power to the dishwasher. We did not remove or damage the dishwasher.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The first time Beetz showed up, I told the original plumber that the refrigerator was leaking. He insisted that the dishwasher was leaking,not the refrigerator. He pulled dishwasher out and removed a part, threw it in my kitchen trash can and left. He did not solve or fix anything. He broke my dishwasher.The second time Beetz showed up, they pulled the refrigerator out, violently banging against the wall causing damage to the wall and paint cracking several floor tiles (I forgot to mention floor in first complaint). They then went to basement and turned the water valve and left.
All this destruction for $646.25. I asked Beetz to repair the damage they caused, but they refused. I paid the bill in full after they threatened to file a lien against my house.
