Each month since living at the ***************************--under Keely ********************** I have paid a monthly parking fee of $45 for parking in the "secure" gated parking lot. Since living here the parking situation and security has changed tremendously, with myself and multiple other female residents I know experiencing major safety concerns in the form of suspicious vehicles and individuals in the lot and most recently a car break-in for **** was parked right in front of the cameras near the building when this happened. Approximately $125 of belongings (Chargers, aux cord, portable charger, skin care,etc) was stolen from my vehicle while I was away for vacation. I requested video footage from the manager and she claimed she could not find it on the cameras because of the awkward angle. This is unacceptable as I pay for security of the parking lot and did not receive that.Additionally the gate has been unsecured multiple times since December when the gate has been left wide open for any vehicle to freely enter. The gate has malfunctioned repeatedly and resulted in essentially unrestricted access to the parking lot. Additionally there have been many gate malfunctions where I've been unable to access the parking lot I pay for. During the Christmas/New Year period, the gate wouldn't open, leaving me with no option but to park in the guest lot late at night, despite the potential risks associated with it. I try my hardest to avoid parking in the guest lot as friends of mine have had concerning experiences and I myself have observed suspicious activity as well.?When I first signed up for parking, there was security booth and officer, functioning gate, "operating cameras" . I am no longer receiving any of these things that were advertised to me. The current state of parking vastly differs from what was initially agreed upon when I signed the lease, so I am seeking a refund of my parking fees from January - end of my lease and reimbursement for items stolen.
