I hired this company to refinish my floors on April 15. I paid him in full, $2400. He left the job on June 17th. He was to finish the hall, the kitchen and the sunporch. He didn't finish the job. When I tried contacting him, he said that the number I texted was no longer his, he had given his phone to his daughter. He didn't leave me a new number. There wasn't that much to finish, less than a fourth to finish. He left a mess that I had to clean myself.Initial Complaint

The contractor ************************* was contacted by myself to perform a job at my property. **************** was also informed that the house was vacant due to it being won last July of 21 at the sheriffs auction. **************** met with me at the property and gave me a quote and told me that I would be priority once deposit was paid. The deposit was paid at 9:38am Thursday March 17, 2022. Words from a text before deposit was sent to **************** (he sent), Just keep in mind the quicker you can get the money down the quicker we can start. Just throwing that out there. Well possibly start the same day if we can. From his company I was given a contract for the roof which wasnt finished until April 1st. I was told this was a 1 day job 3 at the most. It rained the roofers didnt cover my roof at all which caused rain to come in worse than before. He basically blew it off and stated well it was going to have to get fixed anyway. In the mist of this my deposit being paid the start of the doors took a week to start. Everything bought and ready to go. I couldnt get my doors out right in as he stated and I had to put down $400 more for the deposit (which was really to help him go to the dentist he stated). Only 2 doors reframed and 3 doors installed out of 5 doors I was priced for. I was told after I bought the screen door it couldnt get put in. March 29th I was told by **************** that as soon as my roof was done that he himself would start on my 2nd floor windows either that day or the next day depending on the time but right away. A week and 3 days passed with no work performed at all on my house. **************** then told me after I had to call to see what was going that he would be sending another contractor to do the work. The contractor told me that no my windows couldnt get out in right away like **************** stated once again everything had to be reframed and he also missed a window (rm has 8 windows). Ask for money back April15th talked 19th & I havent heard from **************** since
