June 2019 Baden roofing replaced the roof of the home with CertainTeed XT25 shingles. April 2021 I purchased the home. June 2021 I noticed a few loose shingles on the front of the house and after 8 weeks of calling/contacting via website someone replaced the loose shingle. July 10 there was rain and water got into the home soaking my personal items on 2nd, 1st and basement levels. I called the company and NONE of the contact numbers are in operation. 14 July 2022 I called another roofing company to put a tarp on spot. The new roofing company suspects improper installation of shingles contributed to the loose and lost shingles.According to their website (https://badenroofingstl.com/about-us) they offer "a 5-year workmanship guarantee on new shingle roof installations".I have also contacted the Manufacturer of the shingles CertainTEEN. They offer warranty on their products which transfer to the first subsequent owner. The SureStart Warranty period for my roof shingles product is 5 years and 25 year full warranty period.I want the company to replace missing shingles and fix any loose/improperly installed shingles or pay for repairs/reimburse me for paying another company to repair the roof.
