I closed on my home 1/26/24 prior to me closing the roof was replaced by Upright Construction company on 1/8/24 and the warranty was transferred over to me. The roof has leaks all over the living room portion of my house. The company came out multiple times to fix the issue. They said the problem was fixed and sent a guy out to fix the damage to the ceiling that the leaks caused. The only thing they did was paint the ceiling and the leaks are still there. The company will has not fixed the issue causing extensive damage to my home. The painters they sent out did a horrible job and even got paint on my walls. When I asked them about it they chipped the paint off and said it was already there and it was not paint. My roof continues to leak causing possible mold and now damage.Business response

Good afternoon,
****************** contacted us after purchasing her home. We had completed the roof installation prior to her purchase. Following several significant storms, we visited her property and repaired all storm damage caused by that recent weather. At that time, ****************** was not under warranty with UpRight Construction for those damages. Nonetheless, we repaired her roof and resolved all the issues she reported. We also went above and beyond all small repairs by painting her entire ceiling and added new texture, to ensure her property was fully repaired.
Our warranties do not include coverage for fire, windstorm, hail or other hazards.After completing the necessary repairs, ****************** displayed rudeness towards our employees.
We recommend that ****************** address this matter with her insurance company, as it is a claimable issue due to storm damage, not a matter of material or labor defects. Consequently, we will no longer respond to ******************' requests regarding this issue, unless it falls under our warranty.
Please let me know if any further adjustments are needed!***************************

I am rejecting this response because:
The issue occurred before a storm the rain made it clear to me that it was a problem. The roof was replaced in Jan along with my neighbors roof who we share a wall and no storm damage to their roof. We did not have hail or winds so strong that it would damage a 1 month old roof. I also advised **** of this when he asked did we get the hail they got in ************,**. The guys they sent out to repair the issue went into the attic after the 1st two attempts to repair and said it was a leaking pvc pipe in the attic and showed me the video. I requested the videos of the repairs and never received them.
The crew they sent to repair the ceiling advised all they could do was paint and couldnt restore back to its original condition because I have the popcorn ceiling and they would need to shoot the whole ceiling. I was ***** in my response letting them know that I needed it restored back to its original form before the damage occurred. I also had to have the crew back because of sloppy job they did with painting the ceiling.
I was never rude to their employees seeing as though they were here simply to do their job.
I honestly dont believe that this company coming out to repair damages that were not covered under warranty out of kindness seems like they knew the roof shouldnt be leaking after 1 month of being replaced.

My insurance company came out and the adjuster advised there is no storm damage to my roof. They advised they call this a mechanical error.
