      I cleaned up my apartment before I left. I was informed that I would not get my full refund because the date I gave them to move out fell through and I still at the apartment the next month. I was informed that it would $75.00 and it would be no later than two weeks when I would receive the security deposit. It is going on two months and I still have not received the money. I would like my $75.00

      I am in receipt of a complaint from a ****** ******, a former resident of Winter Garden. I just received the letter today in our office. After review, Mr. ****** was approved for a refund on his security deposit of $105.00. A check would have been forwarded to his forwarding address that he was provided. Mr. ****** never alerted the office that he had not received this check. If he is not in receipt of the check he can contact us so that we can alert our accounting department to check and if need be reissue the check for the deposit amount of $105.00.

      I'm a caretaker for a client that lives in this building and have been coming to the this building for the last 5 months. Today I stepped out and saw the floor was soaking wet at the front door entrance. There wasn't any wet floor signs posted so I knocked on the glass window twice to the manager's office. and she just continued on with her conversation. Afterwards I almost slipped and decided to open the door to let her know the floor was soaking wet, and there aren't any wet floor signs posted. At that time the manager said the janitor was getting the signs. However the janitor didn't put out wet floor signs until after 30 minutes. This made me concerned for my safety because I almost slipped, as well as for the safety for others.

      The day of this complaint I remember interacting with Mrs. ****. She is a worker that visits our community to assist a resident.  When she attempted to gain my attention by knocking on the office door, I was on a conference call.  When I completed my meeting I saw her in the lobby.  She stated there wasn’t any wet floor signs down in the lobby and she was concerned that someone could fall. I told her that our Service Manager was around the corner grabbing supplies and signage and ensured her that we use signage anytime we are cleaning the lobby. We also have a mop bucket that has the caution sign printed directly on it, which was in the lobby at the time of my observation. I did remind our Service Manager to make sure signage was in place going forward before starting the cleaning in the lobby as this is our company policy and part of our safety regulations. We take the safety and security of our residents as top priority at Winter Garden Apartments. Please contact me with any further questions.
