My husband is a truck driver, owns his own semi, and was transporting a load through ********* the w/o 6/27, when his turbo blew. ***** made a call for his truck to be towed off the highway as he wasn't able to drive it any longer. His truck was towed to Metro West Services in downtown *********. Here is where they confirmed the truck needed a new turbo on Tuesday, June 28th. After informing my husband of what was needed, they required $1,000 up front to begin the services required, of which he paid the morning of Wednesday, June 29th. Our truck was not ready until Saturday, July 9th for pick up. We lost so much money, the load that was in the trailer when the truck broke down, hotel expenses, and a flight home b/c it took so long, and travel back, only for the truck to be leaking coolant when we picked it up from them damaging a coolant line ***** had to replace an hour after picking the truck up b/c it was smoking heavy. Then we got it home to *********, ** and the "brand new" turbo was leaking oil. ***** hasn't been able to run for weeks now, and the truck needs repair work again. We need our money back, $3,973, $2,000 for the load he couldn't deliver, and $550 for the hotel expense and flight needed due to them taking so long. Per the ***** dealership, this repair should have been no longer than 2 business days, not one week and 2 days. INSANE!!! NOTE: when we picked up the truck, they tried to strong arm us into signing a "No Harmless" doc waiving their responsibility for the repairs made. After calling the police, they were forced to add a 30 day clause to the document, of which they didn't want to do, b/c they knew they weren't competent enough to truly handle the scope of work paid for.
