We signed a contract on 4/13/2021 to have tuck pointing done to our chimney. They continue to push the job back. They showed up on 9/16 and refused to do the job and wants to increase the price on the job. They said the pricing on the contract is not correct. They signed off on the contract. We just want the work done at the price they quoted. We are locked in this contract, so we couldn't hire anyone else during this time. It's not fair that we waited this long and now they want to change it.Business response

When the customer signed the proposal, we did have a very full schedule. Our schedule is weather dependent. When the job came up to be done, we discovered there was a clerical error made in the itemized break down of the proposal for one of the items. We did not proceed with the work and notified the customer immediately. We offered discounts and payment options in whatever amounts she was comfortable with. We also offered to completely void the contract if she wished. We do apologize for the inconvenience and are hopeful for a resolution.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
After signing of the contract on 4/13/21, Mirelli’s communicated that they were running 10 weeks out for a start date, not 6 months. After the 10 weeks, we called on 6/25, 6/28, 6,29, and 7/8 just to name a few. We either received voicemail with no call back or was told that they would to need to follow up with the owner. The owner’s communication has not been kind regarding what he is stating is a mistake. It is best that we not do business with them.
