              We signed up for an automatic transaction to purchase 8 tutoring hours each month for a total of $579. In mid-May, my son notified his tutor that he no longer wished to receive services. He stopped tutoring effective May 16th and did not use the 8 hour allotment for **** In June, Varsity Tutors continued the automatic transaction and charged another $579 on June 14th. I called them to ask why they continued the purchase agreement after they were asked to discontinue services, and they responded that we did not expressly call the customer service center to discontinue tutoring services. I asked for the $579 that was collected in June to be refunded, and they could not refund the money because my call was after the transaction, which I had no way to anticipate, had already been processed. Instead, they offered to extend the 8 hours for use over the next six months in lieu of automatically expiring unused hours after 30 days. Essentially, it is an abusive business practice.

              We had excellent experience of finding the perfect tutors for my son! I have been looking for good math tutor since last year for my middle school son, we have tried couple tutors in other tutor location, but they were not the tutor which fits my sons needs.I was about losing hope luckily this summer I tried again to look for tutor from varsity tutors, we finally got the perfect match with math tutor *******************!, PhD in math and physics! We have been having his tutor session in a daily basis for the past month. Varsity customer service is amazing, its very easy to reach out customer support team by texting or calling them. I would strongly recommend varsity tutors to anyone who needs help academically!
