I had two Urgent Care visits which were billed by St. Luke's as Emergency Room visits. My BCBS insurance is $100 out of pocket for Urgent Care, but because St. Luke's bills it as Emergency Room, I was charged more. I have called the St. Luke's payment number multiple times and nobody answers or returns my call.Business response

According to the notes on Mr. *******'s accounts, we spoke with him on 1/18/23 and again on 2/23/23 regarding his accounts . We informed him his claims were billed appropriately as urgent Care center services. Anthem processed his claims and applied $250 as copay on each claim and $36.24 coinsurance on the 11/12/22 date of service and $44.59 coinsurance on the 11/22/22 date of service. We informed him that we filed an appeal on his behalf requesting that Anthem reprocess his claims. We also encouraged him to contact Anthem and file an appeal to have his claims reprocessed. As of today, Anthem has not reprocessed either claim. If Mr. ******* believes that his claim was not been processed according to his benefit plan, St. Luke's encourages Mr. ******* to contact Anthem to request that his claims be reprocessed.
