On July 18, 2022 we put a deposit on a 2013 scion frs, $515.00. Three days later on the 21st we drove 3 and half hours to purchase. Five minutes prior to arriving I received a phone call from the salesman (*****) stating while they were driving the car to the dealership from the mechanics, the check engine light came on. They were taking it back to the shop. Since we were close we went to look anyway. There were some cosmetic damage which had not reported, but interior was immaculate. We decided to see what the issue was before moving forward. The following day the salesman offered to give a full refund since we had driven so far and hadn't been able to buy the car. I asked to have the car checked by an authorized ****** (scion) dealer. Was told I could at my expense. At that point I was also told the code (check engine light) was caused from faulty equipment when they were checking the car (I was initially told the light came on while they were driving the car to the dealership). I paid to have it checked by ****** as I was no longer comfortable with the mechanic the dealership used and we have been looking for this specific model of Scion for some time. ****** reported codes had been cleared twice & there was no way to tell what they were. They found this suspicious and said equipment COULD NOT cause check engine light to come on. I was advised against purchase and told there was also record of noise in the back end of the car. I contacted seller, saying we were opting not to purchase and I wanted my deposit back. ******** refused saying they weren't going to return the deposit now. Total cost of a wasted trip (gas for 300+ miles) authorized ****** mechanic check (272 dollars) and my deposit. Close to $1000 with no car. As I was told my full deposit would be returned, I expected that to be honored. They have offered half refund, but I am looking for the full $515 to be returned. I put money down on a 2013 infinite g37 car didnt have ****************** I wasnt giving the title so I cant get the car in my name then I got a call tell me to bring the car back in I ask for my 2300$ I put down in he told the days I was driving the car it was a 50$ dollars a day fee I had to get new wheel the first day of having the car and I had to get a oil change .Initial Complaint

I purchased a dirt bike from this company a year ago and still do not have a title. I am making monthly payments on the dirt bike but have no proof of ownership. This company continues to give me a run around.Initial Complaint

We were sold a car that has consistently had engine problems. Paid 18995.00 for 2017 Dodge Charger. Car has had check engine light on 3 times in the one month since purchase. Interior of car falling apart. I went to title the car and the car has another Lein holder on the title. Took 5 days to fix. The Autoplex of affton is no longer trying to fix the car or make the purchase right. I’ve lost hours of work taking the car to get it fixed. Car still not running correctly.Business response

The vehicle came inspected and emissions tested and included a 3 month warranty as well free of charge. About 5 days after purchase customer called stating the check engine light was on. We fixed the vehicle free of charge the first time. About 3 weeks later customer stated check engine light came back on and was explained they have a warranty and to contact the warranty company for help with their issues. Customer also declined to buy an extended warranty at time of purchase.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The car is throwing check engine code ***** which is a transmission error code. Yes I’ll use the warranty but I owned car under 30 days when code happened. I am waiting for shop to examine vehicle. If found to have issues with cost to me I will seek reimbursement for this as I feel car had these issues at time of purchase. This was not disclosed.the shop will be examining the vehicle by Tuesday June 4.
