On June 9th I purchased a vehicle here. They said it was 7900. He said they do financing. I went the next day with a 2K down-payment. I asked if there was any major issues with the truck and he said no. I wasn't driving it 24 hours before it lost power on the interstate. I called him and he said to take it to his shop and they would fix it. The shop made me pay for it. I got it back and had it a week and it died on the hwy again. He would not give me my money back. He finally gave me the paperwork for the car and I see where he changed the price to 8900. I confronted him about it. and he refused to budge. He told me to find my own mechanic. Even though I have a 2 year warranty because of the financing, this truck has become too much of a problem.Business response

He went to a ***** gas station and the gas had water in it. He paid for the cleaning of the engine and all. The issues were not with us. It was the first week he had the car and not the first 24 hours.Initial Complaint

Me and my fiancé went to see about purchasing a vehicle from ****'s Auto Sales on 07/08/2022. During this visit we viewed and decided on purchasing the 2011 Ford ****** that was listed for sale. We completed the initial buying process and was informed the last step was for **** to take the car to get inspected then we would be able to come back that same day and pick up the car. Upon getting it inspected **** called to inform us that the A/C was not working in the vehicle but that he would get it fixed once the part was ordered for it. My fiance and I went through with the purchase due to being personally assured the A/C would be taken care of and he even went to the length of including that note in the purchase agreement. We dropped the car off to ****** for him to take it to the repair shop to be repaired. After it being at the repair shop for the day they concluded they knew the issue and that a part had to be ordered to complete the repair. We received notice the part came in and proceeded to drop the car off at the shop. The car was kept for a total of 2 days and then we received notice to come pick the vehicle up. Upon first starting the vehicle the air was blowing hot still and the mechanic was not sure why it was blowing hot when it was blowing cold earlier. We turned the vehicle off and turned it back on then it started blowing cold. We left that day under the impression the AC was fixed but minutes later when riding in the vehicle it started blowing hot again. We immediately reached out to **** to let him know it stopped working. We brought the car back to the shop he took another look and again said it was fixed. Left the lot it started blowing hot again. Took it back to the lot 08/01 and got a call 08/02 saying **** was not going to pay for the repairs. I find this unacceptableBusiness response

She did purchase the car for her husband through ****** **********. They mentioned something was wrong with the air conditioning. I sent them to the mechanic's shop because it is close by my shop. I paid almost $700 for this repair. They checked it in with the mechanic, they called me, they were happy. After this, they came back to the same mechanic. There is something required by police to drive a car and they wanted to do this to their car. When they went back to that mechanic, he went to the driver's door and broke the handle accidentally. While he was checking this, the ac completely stopped working. Then they started calling me about this but the mechanic was willing to fix all this. Her mother called me back to about this but then she stopped calling me and explained all this to her.
