Traded in a car for another car. Car lot owes us over 1500 dollars in insurance refund according to the loan company Neibors credit union. Car lot lost the checks. Asked them where are checks were. Told us to deal with the bank on it. We can't. The car lot has to refund due to insurance being bought through them. They now refuse to talk to us about the situation. 3 months now still haven't got our refund. And they haven't contacted us back. WE WANT OUR REFUND.

We spoke with **************** on February 27, 2024 explaining the refund was in process (not that the checks were lost) and it could take another couple weeks. She has not contacted us since. The cancellation process was within industry standards, 6-8 weeks. A refund check for all funds owed to **************** was sent via ***** overnight on March 11, 2024 before we received this notice. The check has since cleared our bank.

I have attached copies of the ***** tracking information along with a copy of the cleared check for reference.

Not correct at all. We have new evidence from Neighbors credit union stating they own us over $ 897 dollars on just one insurance.  We just received a check from Johnny londoff for $679.00.  We had 2 insurance with Johnny londoff. Not one. We had Gap and safe guard. They also put a insurance on our new ******* a gap insurance that we stated we did not want.  So yes according to Neighbors credit union they still owe us for another insurance refund. And they need to cancel the ************* on the *******.  A please note.  We have contacted them several times and we got no where.  They did explain the insurance refund with us and 3 people all stated we would get back over ***** dollars so according to Neighbors credit union also.  We also have our vehicles warranty through their shop and we can't take our vehicle there because we cannot trust them.  They have lied to us too much.  This is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from them.  And has been a constant headache.

We only received a partial payment from Johnny londoff.  We sent BBB the letter of proof already and we did respond back to this complaint.  Johnny londoff also used 500 dollars of our insurance to fix the 2014 Cadillac after i purchased the 2019 Lincoln.  Like I stated before we had 2 different instances with Johnny Londoff.  Not 1 they sent only a partial refund.

I bought a vehicle from them in Dec. 15, 2022 and only had the truck for 5 months and it has been in the shop since I have had it. There is something wrong every week with it and it has only been driven 1500 miles, right now it has a cooling leak. Now the dealership doesn't want to honor the warranty. I am paying $379.00 a monthand insurance $160.00 a month for this truck. I believe they sold me a lemon. I would like for them to repair the truck.

Thank you for your assistance with our customer, ****** ********.  Mr. ******** purchased a Ford Explorer from Johnny Londoff Autoplex in December 2022.  At the time of his purchase, we offered him an extended warranty.  His vehicle has over 100,000 miles on it.  He declined the extended warranty.  We have repaired his vehicle 3 times at no cost to him.  A very generous good will offering.  He brought his vehicle in again last week for the 4th time and wanted us to cover the repairs.  We told him then that he chose to purchase an "as is" vehicle and opt out of an extended warranty.  It was time for his to take ownership of his vehicle and his decision.  We covered the diagnostic fee but the cost of the repair would have to be on him.  He agreed and we repaired his vehicle.  Thank you again for your assistance.

Please see the attached Warranty Acceptance/Declination Sheet that was signed by ****** ********.  Clearly, he was offered an extended warranty but declined any products.  HIs vehicle was running when he left our dealership the other day.  We have over $1,000 of repairs we have provided in a vehicle that was sold "As Is".  He was also the option of an Extended Warranty and declined.  As we told Mr. ********, it has been six months since his purchase and it is time for him to take full ownership of the maintenance of his vehicle.  Thank you again for your assistance.

I went to this dealership with $7000 cash to purchase a truck they had. It was a couple of days before I could come back out to get the truck. Then he wanted me to try out a couple of cars. I told him I wanted the truck. He told me he sold the truck and I asked for my money back. He told me they couldn't refund my money and I would have to take them to court for it. He showed me another vehicle and I purchased it. I signed the papers. I kept the car for 15 days and I had brake problems. They told me they would fix them. Two weeks later, I had more problems with the brakes. I had the car towed back to them and they wouldn't accept it. I called the loan company and they said they would reach out to the dealership. I hadn't made my first payment. They have my car and my $7000. They did a bait and switch on me.

We have received your complaint ID:  ******** from ******* ****.  Mr. **** purchased his vehicle from our St. Peters Autoplex location on July 29, 2022.  He put $7,000 down on the vehicle.  Because his provable income was low, his purchase options were very limited.  Mr. **** took ownership of his pre-owned vehicle on July 29, 2022.

After 2 weeks, he experienced some issues with his brakes.  We replaced the brakes.  He returned and we made additional repairs.  Mr. **** then attempted to have his vehicle towed to our lot to return it.  We declined the vehicle.  He then decided he no longer wanted his car.  We told him that he had purchased the vehicle and we could only trade him out of it after he paid the sales tax and got it licensed in his name.  We told him repeatedly that he needed to license his vehicle with the State of Missouri before we could assist him.  After many months with no payment from Mr. ****, his lender, ******* ********** ***********, was forced to repossess his vehicle on December 21, 2022.

Mr. **** accepted the terms of the loan when he signed the contracts.  We were more than willing to assist him, but he had to pay his sales tax.  The State of Missouri requires consumers to pay sales tax on the purchase of a vehicle and have the vehicle licensed.  This was all explained to Mr. **** on several occasions.  He made the decision to just not pay the lender.  ******* ********** *********** had no recourse other than repossessing the vehicle.

We hope this explanation helps.  If you require anything else, please feel free to contact us.  Thank you for your assistance.

On July 29, 2022, I put $7,000 on a truck first and they bait and switched me.  He sold the truck and was texting me all the while.  By the time I got out there, he was telling me to test drive these other cars.  I'm a Black man and hard of hearing, I think he took advantage of me because of it.  He told me I have to go to court to get my money back.  They didn't give me the title until a couple weeks later.  I took the car there to get the brakes fixed because when I hit the peddle, it would go down to the floor.  They would not look at the brakes.  I took it to a place and they said it needed brakes.  The lights would come on without notice.  The car was having problems before 30 days of having it.
