      ***** **** owner of Reclaimed Interiors, St. Charles, MO installed barn doors and shiplap in an office in our home. The craftsmanship is subpar and he left the job unfinished with nail holes unfilled and wall unpainted. The doors delivered did not represent the quality of the doors in the original pictures. He also damaged the wall and left paint all over the new carpeting in the office. The carpeting is expensive and less than a year old and now must be replaced. He has blocked me from contacting him on his business FB page and will not respond to text messages. I ask he pay to replace the carpeting and refund the amount paid for doors which are made so poorly a 5th grader in shop class could have done a better job.

      In response to *****’s complaint, I have provided photos showing my completed work which was cleared by her Husband prior to leaving site. There are no signs of paint on the carpet when I completed the job. The knicks on the wall were made aware to her Husband and to ***** since she was not onsite when the project work was taking place. Her Husband told me to not worry about touching the knicks up because they would be doing touch up work on the walls after I was finished. The knicks were present on the left and right of the Shiplap wall on the green colored walls.

       

      I realize that not everyone will be satisfied. I have plenty of positive reviews on my Facebook page proving my passion for what I do, my professionalism, and completing projects in a timely manner. ***** is my first customer with a complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      He was the only one there painting and it was white, we haven't done any other painting. My husband was home but he wasn't directly supervising him. He never once said we were okay with any knicks. The picture he sent me was from a distance and you could not see the workmanship. I was out of town during the job. He also is using pictures of my home for advertising which I did not give him authorization to do. I asked him to take them down which he has not.
