Hot water heater issue I will give the technicians that came to my home 3 times this month 5 stars, both were professional and did a good job. I would give the individuals answering the phones 1 star. I called on 7/5/24 due to not having hot water, they sent a technician on the same day and they believed that they had resolved the issue. On 7/26/24 I, again, had no hot water. A technician came, same day, and stated that they needed to order a part and because it was early Friday they could possibly have it done by Saturday. After a weekend of no hot water and no phone calls or updates from Budget, I called them for an update Monday morning. The individual that answered the call had no information to give and stated that the guy that does order usually arrives around 9:30am. I called at 9:45am. She said she would get back to me that morning. At 12:30pm I called them back and she said she forgot to give me an update but would let me know when it arrives. Tuesday morning comes, no progress, I call when they open at 8am and the same operator stated that the part arrived and they would get someone out to me and update me on their arrival time. I stayed home from work, expecting it to be soon because the operator said their plumbing division was not busy. At 4pm I began calling again, I called 8 times and was kept on hold until voicemail prompted. At 5:30pm I received a text that the technician was on their way. I missed a day of work due to poor communication on their end. I felt like I had to pry information out of them or I wouldnt get any. Technician arrived and hopefully finally resolved the issue. But to say I was displeased with their customer support staff would be an understatement.
