I brought my car in to be fixed because it was getting dangerous for me to drive. I didn't know what was wrong with it just that it was making a noise when I would turn the wheel and if the wind was blowing hard it was hard to steer or if a tire hit like a divet in the road the car would jerk making it difficult to steer. So I told the manager to look at it find out what was wrong and call me with a price. He said OK so first i waited at the store for half hour for them to pull it in and look at it then I told the manager I was leaving cuz I was tired of waiting when the store manager kept telling me my car was next so I said just call me with a price when you find out what's wrong with it. So after waiting 2 hrs I called to see 8f they new what was wrong well the store manager wrote down the wrong phone number for me said i gave him the wrong number which is a lie he had 314 when mine is 636 so finally the manager told me the problem and price I said OK and made sure it would be done that day the manager said yes no problem so I went to pick it up 15 min before they closed cuz that's when I was told it would be done get to the store and they are already closed. Everything locked up lights off and no one around. Never got a call that they would be closing early or that my car was done early so because they did that I lost out on 2 days of work because I didn't get my car back so when I went to go get my car on Monday morning I'm ****** because I couldn't afford the 2 days of work I had to miss I just get lied to by the store manager and he hangs up on me because he's not gonna argue with me because he's sick with covid which us what I kept hearing him tell people on Saturday that he had covid and why is he even at work if he's testing positive for covid. So now he's exposed me of it twice by picking my car up on Monday. So as I'm driving home I realize the problem wasn't fixed so immediately I call and talk to store manager and tell him they didn't fix my car he's arguing that they did and he won't have time to look at it for 2 more days. Which when I brought it in I said it was dangerous to drive and I used it for work. The manager said they hadn't found anything wrong with it and they replaced a rod on front end. Both days I saw the manager alls he was worried about and kept repeating was how he was sick with covid also when I picked the car up the manager told me he was nice and sanitized my keys for me just in case. And he told me how his guys couldn't get my car started so they had to push it into the garage. My car is a stupid hybrid and you don't hear the engine turn on but its on and ready to drive so it did start and they pushed it in for no reason. So then i have the owner call me which he gave runaround about how the store didn't close early they were there and kept repeating himself which it doesn't matter how many times he says thew we're in the bathroom doesn't nake it that the store wasn't closed they were and no one was there and then he says how it sounds like thus was the matter with my car but his manager just Saud they couldn't find anything .so I've taken it to the original place that told me the problem which was a different company and they said my car wasn't touched so I'm out 2 days pay and $200 and my cars not fixed I am a single mom of six kids and I really needed my car to be fixed so it was safe for my kids to be in and I can't afford to just throw hundreds of dollars away and I can't afford to miss any work a

The miscommunication is the managers fault and the mechanic who didn't feel like working. He drove my car around for awhile he had to feel how the steering was and heard the popping when you turn the front tires. And everything the tires hit in the road throws the steering off. And I made sure I was gonna get my car back because I had to work. No one said they were closing early no one called or left a message. And I told the manager I had to have my car back that day. He said no problem because we close at 3. And maybe your manager should have just stayed home instead of doing his job he was more worried about getting sympathy because he had covid. I am not being unreasonable I want my car fixed or my money back. I told the manager find out what's wrong with it and call with a price. After waiting for half hour for them to bring my car in to look at it I left and said to call me then after waiting for 2 hours I had to call them cuz the manager wrote my number wrong. So I'm out time, 2 days pay, $200 and my car was never fixed and I'm being unreasonsble

On Friday April 14th 2023 I made an appointment to get new tires and an oil change and when I went to pick up my car **** (the owner) handed me back someone else’s keys. When I told him those were not my keys he told me he already handed me back my keys (which he did not) after he searched for my keys for 15 minutes he finally found them. I received a phone call from **** FIVE HOURS LATER saying i HAD to bring my car back right now because they put the wrong tires on my car and they need them for tomorrow so they were planning on putting tires I had been driving on for 5 hours on someone else’s car and try to pass them as new!!!!!!! They also did NOT do an oil change on my car and charged me for it. I had to take my car elsewhere the next day to get an oil change. **** then tried sending me a bill for a random tire in the mail after they put the wrong tires on my car and when I called to discuss it with **** he was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Miss ******* came in on 4/14/2023 to get a oil change and 3 tires that would match one of the tires she replaced in November 2022. We later discovered that one of the techs working on her car replaced all four tires  that were for another customer. Those tires that were put on were the correct size but were an upgraded tire. I called Miss ******* 30 minutes after the service to tell her what happened. She explained she was to far out but would call me later. I called again later  that afternoon to check if she was coming back, no answer. On Monday 4/17/2023 I sent a bill for the difference in the upgraded tires of $154.38. On Wednesday 4/19/2023 she called with the most vulgar  and disrespectful language  I have heard in my life. Not being able to get a word in edgewise and wishing me dead I was unable to fix the problem. I know she feels that its our loss and her gain, but I wish her well and hope she finds another shop to take care of her.

I purchased shocks all the way around for my vehicle and he is not holding up on the warranty. It was a lifetime warranty on the shocks. I started having trouble with them about a year after the purchase. He told me that the company he got the shocks from are out of business.

Yes we replaced their struts on a 2010 Chevy Camaro back in September of 2019. We did not deny service we just can't get a replacement strut, ****** just seemed to not make them anymore. Our manager ***** offered that if the customer could find the replacement strut that we would put it on for them free.

I am rejecting their response because:  They never said that they would replace the struts for free.  I never said I wanted ****** shocks.  I think they should reimburse me for the strut.   They should uphold their warranty and reimburse me.  It was only 2 years old when I brought it to them.

I came to western tire and auto for them to replace my gm resonator with after market resonators. Once they installed the after market resonators, something wasn?t done correctly that caused my AFM valves directly behind the newly installed resonators to fail once the job was complete. Prior to leaving with my vehicle I spoke with a worker there named ***** and informed ***** their was a loud abnormal rattling coming from under the car that wasn?t present before getting the work done at western tire and auto. ***** then stated ?this sound was normal? and instructed me to come back in a week if the rattling has not stopped, and they will correct the issue. The rattling did not stop therefore I called western tire and auto to make an appointment Wednesday 09/21/22. When I arrived we found the rattling to be coming from the AFM valves, but western tire and auto wasn?t knowledgeable on what that was so I was instructed to have my dealership Weber Chevrolet look at the car the same day and concluded the AFM valve was damaged and no longer operable and would need removal or replacing. I then returned to western tire and auto this same day with this information from the dealership stating what the issue was and the price to replace the parts which was $686 for replacement of both AFM valves or simply removing the valves altogether. I was then instructed to make another appointment with western tire auto on Saturday 09/24/22 at 10am because they didn?t have the availability to do the work that day on Wednesday 09/21/22. Once I arrived at my appointment Saturday to have the valves replaced as we agreed on Wednesday, I was told I would have to pay an additional $80 for them to fix the issue that was caused by the negligence of the mechanic ***** who worked on the vehicle initially causing the AFM valves to fail completely. The shop owner **** stated he cannot cover the cost of the repair because he doesn?t think his mechanic ***** was responsible for the valves failing.

Yes the customer brought in his own exhaust parts for us to replace the factory resonator, these parts were thrust mufflers in place of the factory resonator. Using the ordinal exhaust from that point back, there are what is called NPP valves that is part of the factory exhaust. The Customer brought it back because those valves are rattling, which is still part of the original exhaust. With the new thrust mufflers the customer wanted us to put in place of the exhaust resonator caused more air flow which makes the NPP valves rattle. The dealer told him those would have to be replaced or cut them out and sleeve a pipe in their place. Customer called and set an appointment to have the NPP valves removed. When customer came for the appointment and he expected it to be done for free. I explained this is a extra service to your exhaust which takes time, labor, and welding. I offered to do this for $40 per side and costumer thought it should be free. Prior work was done correctly here at Western Tire and Auto. This complaint is only because he wants us to do this for free.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
I explained to Western Tire and Auto the rattling is from damage to the AFM Valves, not NPP. Air flow is only made during acceleration, this rattling continues on idle while the car is in park and not moving. The work that was done there at western Tire and Auto caused these valves to fail. According to my Chevrolet dealership these valves aren’t supposed to move by hand and **** at western tire and auto was able to turn these valves with no effort because the part was damaged during the prior work they did. I asked them if they can just simply reverse the work they did and **** stated he did not know what the AFM valves were. Once I took the car to the dealership they stated the valves had be damaged for them to rattle and turn by hand. The work that was done on my exhaust previously at western tire and Auto is what caused the damage to my AFM valves. Before I left the shop on my first appointment I stated there was rattling and was told to bring the car back in a week if the rattling does not cease, and it will be fixed.

      Sincerely,

      ******* ***

Again this is part of the factory exhaust behind the work that was done, there was no damage to the exhaust by Western Tire $ Auto. As I explained to the customer we can remove the afm valves for $40.00 per side and weld a pipe in there place.  This is all just the customer wants us to do it for Free

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
I have attached photos of the damage to my exhaust pipe which shows it’s completely bent up until the AFM valves. I’m not sure what was done at the shop as to why they would need to bend my exhaust pipe in the manner. Again I’ve taken my car to the Chevrolet dealership the same day I left western Tire and Auto and was told there was apparent damage to the AFM valves. Not wear and tear, deliberate damage done to my exhaust that caused the valves to fail.

      Sincerely,
      ******* ***

I have been going to them for a while for oil change. I ended up taking it to another shop and that shop that the oil pan screw was stripped. They put a sealing around the screw so it wouldn't leak. I went there in about two or three months ago. I think I have a receipt to show they did that oil change and the sticker is still in the window. I had to replace the oil pan for $900.00; for something I didn't break and they didn't tell me about.

Mr. ****** has had 2 oil changes with us, one on2/24/22 at 261.683 miles, and on 6/22/22 at 265,985 we had no problem with the oil drain plug on either occasions. Mr ****** called  the manger of the store and he was told to bring it to the our shop to check it out. The customer never let us look at problem and never called back. I have seen before another shop does something wrong and blames previous shop so they do not have to cover it. My suggestion is to stay with one shop to avoid this from happening.

I don't trust Western tire. Yes they have changed my oil 2time and why would another shop lie about this problem. Western tire was the last to change my oil. They stripped out my oil plug.
