They not only switched me from the car I wanted because I was having trouble getting financing, they sold me a car that has never been right. I returned it to them 5 times for repair, and they would do minor stuff like replacing a sensor or radiator fluid or radiator overflow tank. When I demanded that the car be taken to Ford to be looked at (it is a Ford Escape) suddenly they weren't interested in helping...they even refused to have it towed there. After several complaints, they finally agreed to have it towed but told me I would have to use my warranty for repairs. Now, the engine needs to be replaced, which could cost as much as $9,000.00, and, of course, the warranty does not cover it. Again...this car has never run right. I bought it on April 7th, and I have had it a total of 11 days in my possession...I am also seeking legal advise from an attorney.Business response

HI MY NAME IS **** ******** IN RESPONCE TO ID OF ******** WITH CUSTOMER ******** ***** WHO PURCHASED 2018 FORD ESCAPE ,AFTER HER PURCHASE THE CAR OVERHEATED ,SHE RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP WE GAVE HER A LOANER CAR AT NO COST TO HER AND REPLACED THE COOLANT RESERVOIR AND SHE PICKED UP THE VECHILE AND IT OVERHEATED AGAIN THE SHOP SAID IT COULD OF BEEN BUBBLES IN THE ANTI FREEZE WHEN THE RADIATOR FLUSH WAS DONE ON THE ORIGINNALY REPAIR WELL IT DID IT AGAIN AND THE SHOP LET IT RUN FOR 2 HRS AND DROVE IT OVER 100 MILES AND IT WOULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND ITS HARD TO FIX IF THE VECHICLE IS NOT OVERHEATING SO THEY PUT IN A THERMOSTAT SENSOR AND A WEEK LATER IT DID IT AGAIN SO WE PAID A TOW TO HAVE A FORD DEALERSHIP LOOK AT IT AND THERE IS A RECALL ON THE HEAD GASKET AND WE ARE WORKING WITH FORD BUT THEY DECLINED THE REPAIR BECAUSE THE VECHILE HAS OVER 100000 MILES AT THIS TIME WE ARE WORKING WITH THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND I WILL SAY THAT WE GAVE HER A LOANER CAR EVERYTIME THE CAR WAS IN THE SHOP AND WE DID NOT CHARGE HER FOR ANY OF THE REPAIRS IF YOU NEED ANY MORE INFORMATION CALL ME AT ************ ****** ****Initial Complaint

I am still waiting to receive my title from this company for my 2010 Chevy Silverado. This company is giving me the run around. They keep saying they sent it but all I have ever received was proof that I made all the payments.Business response

Mr ****** picked up his title at the dealership on 11/10/2016. We have a receipt signed by Mr. ****** stating that he picked up his title on 11/10/2016. On 11/23/2016 the state of Missouri issued Mr ****** his title. Since we have a record of Mr ****** picking up his title we don't feel this is a legimate complaint. Please see attatched showing receipt of title and please let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Thank You ***** ********Customer response

I have never been back into that dealership since the day I bought it. They did send me a piece of paper that was notorized and said it was lien free. I had to get a duplicate title, which cost me $16.00. I don't know if I can sell the car with the duplicate.Business response

We sent the BBB the copy of the customers signature showing he picked his title up from us. Customer had to have title to register his vehicle. Title was lost after vehicle registration by customer, State of Missouri shows title was mailed to customer. This is why customer had to pay lost title fee. Car can definitely be sold with duplicate title and lien release which customers states he has. Just to clarify his lender sent him the lien release not us. Hope this answers your questions. I have never been back to the dealership. I never signed for a title. I had to apply for one through the state. It costs me $16 for me to do that. I would like to be reimbursed for the title fees and I would like the original title.Business response

What does the BBB not understand about this complaint? We have sent you a copy of the customers own signature where he signed picking up his title work. How are we supposed to give him his original title when he came and picked it and why would we pay for a lost title when he signed for it? This is the second time we have had to answer this illegitimate claim. This should not even count as a legitimate claim. Once again the BBB has a copy showing the customer signed for the title! I Buy a 2013 Charger RT on September 13,2021 from them. My steering kept shaking really bad went I step on the brakes. So i call back up to the dealership to get my car fix lady pick up the phone told me call back tomorrow speak service so I did setup appointment. On September 20,2021 so I brought the car up to them gave them the key to vehicle. So AL call me that afternoon said that my car ready be pick up but he told me I should keep the car there because we got send out to get the back window re tinted. I told that was fine. And he said okay I see Tuesday so I get a call on Tuesday in morning saying my car got stolen off the lot because are business got broken into. So I went down there spoke with officer and General manager. So he told me he couldn’t do anything for because his insurance company don’t cover cars that got stolen off the lot. Now been 3days with no car and I have to payment on October 27,2021 with no vehicle at all.Business response

Mr. ******* informed me he canceled his full coverage insurance that he agreed and signed to maintain throughout the duration of his loan with his lender. (See attached) If Mr. ******* had not done this his vehicle would be covered. Thanks for your time.

Because he didn’t cover my car underneath garage keeper act insurance my insurance company said wasn’t my fault that it was dealership fault got stolen off there lot.

We are sorry customer decided to change his full coverage insurance to liability but as with any other such incident, dealership is not responsible for loss or stolen property on premises.
