Went in for a general cleaning January last year. Was recommended to get a deep cleaning so I did. A week after I told the dentist my tooth was giving me excruciating pain after the cleaning which they said is normal. They took more X-rays and recommended I see a root canal expert for better X-rays because they were not able to see any visible damage/decay/rotting. My insurance does not cover this and I did not have money to see a root canal expert at the time due to unexpected circumstances. The pain subsided after a week so I figured everything was okay. About a week ago from this date the pain came back in the same tooth and I figured it would go away again but only gotten worse to the point I can hardly eat. Upon looking at my tooth you can now visibly see the root of my tooth and where the lady damaged my tooth. I have scheduled an appointment today but the dentist says they will not look at me with out me paying out of my own pocket for damaged they caused when they clearly stated my tooth had no visible damage or decay. If I were to chip my tooth sometime throughout the year I would have instantly got it fixed given the pain it is causing me so it makes no sense for this dentist not to fix their mistake free of charge
