Bathroom remodel done less than year ago. Bathroom faucets LED light went out. We contacted the company and they were able to get a free replacement part. When finally out to complete the replacement there was now a loud noise from the faucet and the handle switch was not fixed appropriately. The employee asked about it and upon checking I informed him no that was not doing that prior to him replacing the led and a new water line , which he said was shorter and there was a leak, there was no leak prior to him coming and no noise prior to him coming. The handle to the faucet was not fixed either. I have made contact with the company and they refuse to do anything further. We paid over 10,000 for this remodel job and have had some previous issues with the shower seat etc. that they have worked on and the seat is fixed. Not sure where the disconnect with contractors warranty guarantees a contractors workmanship or installations in which this has not is being honored by this company at this time in reference to the faucet noise/handle issue.Business response

***** and **** were wonderful clients. We were happy to have served them. They purchased these faucets in May of 2021 (see attached invoice). The LED lights went bad. The manufacturer's warranty had expired (one year). We convinced them to send free parts, even though it was out of warranty. We replaced the parts for free, even though it was out of our warranty as well. They did have a leak on a line, the line was corroded with lime, my installer replaced the line. The faucet had a slight whistle prior to us replacing the parts. Once we replaced the parts it got louder, I spoke with the client and explained that I didn't know why it was doing it. We are remodelers/installers, not service technicians. But I would research it and see what I could find out. I called the manufacture, and every plumbing tech that I know and couldn't get and answer as to why the faucet was making that noise. I explained to them as to why I wouldn't come back out and fix something that I didn't know how to fix. I recommended they contact the manufacturer to see if they had a service tech that could diagnose their issue. I also offered to sell them new faucets at my cost and install them for free. I have had an A+ rating for several years with 0 complaints for a reason. We go above and beyond to ensure our clients are satisfied. So, after doing everything we did to be keep them happy I had to wonder what was going on. I asked around and found some evidence that they are working directly with my competitor Homestead Designs+. Which is owned by a prior employee of mine who designed the the ****'s bathroom in the first place. I have evidence that ***** **** was sending all correspondence from us to our competitor. I feel as if this was nothing but a smear campaign designed to make our company look bad. I can provide evidence to prove the correspondence from sworn written statements. I will be consulting my attorney first, as this a violation of the non-compete contract my previous employee signed. But as long as my attorney says it's Ok to release the evidence to prove this is a smear campaign to tarnish my reputation, I will be glad to.
