Beginning on January 10th, 2022, my neighbor hired Kevin Brennan Tree Service to remove a very large tree from his backyard. During the course of removing the tree, multiple members of the crew were in my yard and on the roof of my garage, where they set a large limb on the roof and proceeded to cut it up prior to feeding into a chipper truck. As a result, shingles were ripped up and severely damaged due to a crew member walking on my roof for over an hour. Additional damage was sustained to the siding of my garage, gutters, and back awning of my porch. I have email documentation where I advised of the damages to my property and specifically requested that their crew no longer come onto my property without proper notification. I was told that a roofing contractor came out to look at my garage roof and took pictures. I was home when this individual was here, and he got on my neighbor’s roof (which Kevin Brennan Tree Service had damaged and shingles were missing just like mine) and I asked if he was there to inspect my roof, he said no and he left. I had a roofing company inspect my garage roof for damages, an individual already familiar with my roof as he inspected prior to my purchase of the home 5 month previous, he stated to me that my roof would no longer pass inspection and indicated that the wear pattern is uneven and located primarily where the crew member had been walking while removing the tree. I have requested multiple times for the pictures and have not received any documentation to support this claim. I have requested the name of the company with which Kevin Brennan Tree Service is insured through, and the supervisor I have been in contact with ignores my requests time and again via email. I believe that I should be provided the name of their insurance company so that the insurance company can come out and inspect the damages that Kevin Brennan Tree Service caused on my property and properly repair these damages.

We were doing repairs on the neighbor of this person's house.  We admitted fault in damage to the awning, guttering and siding which we have fully repaired.  A third party roofing company has assessed her roof and found it not to be damaged by our work but through age and deterioration.  I can provide documentation from that vendor.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I spoke directly to the roofing contractor that fixed the neighbors roof and he told me that he was not there to look at my garage roof at all. I then watched him leave a short time later and no one has been in contact with me to inspect my roof. I have requested the claimed documentation, to include time-stamped photos, from Kevin Brennan Tree Service multiple times via email only to have my request unanswered and completely ignored in their responses. I bought my house in August 2021 and it passed inspection at that time. I have photos from this that illustrate the age of my roof and shows no missing shingles. I have had a roofer come out to my house on 3 separate occasions (once before I purchased my house, once after an initial limb fell from this tree, and one after this tree removal company was out here because I was concerned about potential damages) and he can also attest to the severe damage this company has caused. He stated that my roof definitely didn't have damage like it does now when I bought it a few short months ago and would never have passed inspection if it was as damaged as it is now.

      Sincerely,

I have attached the roofer's statement that inspect the roof at the time we were doing the work and pictures showing the condition of the roof. Please let me know if you need anything else.
      Thank you.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The report complied by ******* ******* of ** ******* is dated 5/4/2022 and according to claims from Kevin Brennan Tree Service, this was completed months ago, so why would it not be dated for when it was supposedly completed? Additionally, the photos included are the photos that MY roofer took of my roof on Wednesday March 9th, 2022. They simply uploaded the photos that I sent to the tree service as documentation of the damage that they did to my roof and purposefully left out the photos of the other side of my roof with the missing shingles as I uploaded in the initial complaint. I have attached screenshots of the photos MY roofer took and texted to me, the emails in which I sent these exact photos to Kevin Brennan Tree Service and you can obviously see that Kevin Brennan Tree Service copied them and are now falsely attempting to pass off as their own.

Again, I ask for the TIME STAMPED photos from Feb/early March when ******* ******* of ** ******* supposedly came out and inspected my roof. Or, Kevin Brennan Tree Service can kindly provide me their insurance company information so that they can come out and do a proper inspection of the remainder of the damage they inflicted on my property.

      Sincerely,

      **** ****
