I have been living at this residence for over two years now never had any problems never had to contact maintenance to fix anything but now I am having problems with my apartment. I have no hot water currently for four days now and also they’ve been dragging their feet about the window that has been cracked for over a month now.Business response

The first maintenance request regarding the lack of hot water was called in on March 4, 2024. Maintenance responded to the call but, upon arrival to the unit to begin inspection, were denied entry (on 3/4/24) ultimately delaying the initial response time. On 3/7/24, the upper and lower water elements were replaced which seemed to alleviate the issue.
The hot water was functioning after initial replacement of the elements and then began to spontaneously "go out" over the next 8 calendar days. Various visits by maintenance were made in attempt to diagnose the problem -- from draining the tank to remove sediment, to checking thermostat readings and turning the temperature, etc -- all efforts would alleviate the issue with hot water returning, leaving maintenance with the resolve the problem was fixed. However, within a day, the hot water would "go out" again.
The malfunctioning water heater was replaced with a new unit on 3/12/24.
Maintenance actively followed protocol to work and repair the existing unit; tenant was, understandably, impatient with the process.
