The employees are rude. The packaging was horrible lots of air in the package that was supposed to be sealed. Only got maybe 200 pounds out of a hog that was over 600 pounds and was charged almost $500. Did not get all the cuts we asked for. The cuts we got was cut horribly. They lie about things...will not go into detail about that. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!

****** never called us to discuss. Hog live weight was 604. Hanging weight was 392 lbs which is 64% of live weight. She received ***** lbs total. This is ****%. Normally if you get over 60% is good. Thus this was way above. Our charges are standard in industry. She requested cured bacon and hams as well as smoked. She did not want ground pork but all sausage. $.50 on ground sausage and $1.10 on curing smoking. Many plants charge more. If you look at weights she got everything she asked for. Paid $515.58. On 604 lb animal on everything. Yielding 64% on live weight and over 70% on hanging is proof she got everything she asked for. ****** was prob expecting 400 lbs of meat from 600 lb animal due to lack of knowledge of industry yields. She does not understand the guts head skin etc weighs. When hog is dry aged it loses a bit more then bone out you must trim. She may not like **** but she knew the pricing upfront and it was less than many plants. She never questioned ****. As for being rude is simply made up, she never even discussed any of this with us. She came with her friend, they paid, picked up meat and left. If she really had issues with packaging, why not contact us to fix? We're sorry she's upset, but if person refuses to acknowledge that live animal is not made 100% of meat, and numbers we have on her weights show that we did really good job on her animal, then there's really nothing we can do.
