      Dropped my car off two weeks ago with an issue. They had trouble finding the issue, so they scheduled a test drive with me the next day. Despite noting the issue on the test drive, I continued to receive few updates (they were running lots of testing though). After hearing nothing, I called on 3/19 to be told that theyd call me back by the end of the day on 3/20. I did not receive a call and had to call back on 3/22, where they still did not have an answer. Finally, I got a call back where they said they cant figure it out, but theyre going to just wait until the problem gets worse. Absolute waste of two weeks with minimal communication, would not recommend.

      ****** must have written this dispute before the invoice was paid. We had a discussion on the 22nd and agreed on an amount. the $400 dispute is not valid. We have attached a copy of the invoice as proof, thank you.

      My vehicle a white 09’ PT Cruiser lost power & began jerking back & forth on my way into work in the middle of July 2021. I got it towed to a shop called *********. They had it for about a month, but never really looked at it because they were understaffed & too busy. So I then had it towed around the corner to A-1 Custom Car Care on Sunset. So they had it from mid August until mid October trying to determine the problem. The finally came to the conclusion that it was some computer issue with the car & that they found a company that can build them & that they will build one for my car & that A-1 will install it. I was like cool do that and tell me the cost. It was a twelve hundred dollar repair. Being something to do with the computer this was understandable. I was under the belief that they had fixed my problem. I drove it for 3 days without any problem, but on the forth day it started doing the same thing lost power I could only to a top speed of 40mph on 65 highway mind you & jerking back & forth. So I went back to them saying that they didn’t fix it & that I would like my money back so I can have another shop try & fix it because obviously they don’t know how to fix this particular problem. The gentleman at the front desk said that they fixed my problem & that they weren’t giving my money back. I actually had a police officer come up to me at a red light & ask why I was driving so slow & why my car was jerking back in forth. And I told him that my car was broke & that I was on my way back to A-1 to get my money back & try & take it somewhere else. Thats the jist of it. I just want my 1,200 back so I can pay another shop to try & fix it. If it cost more than that so be it. But I don’t have 1,200 to just give away for nothing.

      Mr. **********'s PT Cruiser came to us in a state that it wouldn't even start. The battery was dead also. We had to repair the "No Crank" issue first. Until it is running it is impossible to diagnose and test for an "engine running' concern. Our repairs, that he authorized, did get the car to the point of starting on its own. The reason the vehicle was here as long as it was is because it took him weeks to pick the vehicle up after we advised it was completed. The customer then came in one Friday afternoon demanding his money back. note; He drove up in his car and left in his car that day also. We offered to take a look at his "Running" issue at no charge if it were related to the repairs we had made. We have a 12/month 12,000 mile warranty on his repairs, so if related we could fix at no cost to him. He refused to let us look at his vehicle. We are unable to help him if we aren't given the opportunity to perform the needed testing and follow our warranty procedures.
