I emailed the store with title "complaint for owner" a few days ago and have not heard back. I also asked ***** to put me in touch with the owner and she refused (as described below).
I live in Texas but I sometimes stay in my RV without an address so I rent a mailbox from this UPS Store so I can receive packages when I'm staying in Missouri. On Saturday, May 7, I had 3 packages that had arrived and I had received emails from the store that they had arrived and were waiting for me to come pick them up. The store closes at 4pm on Sat, I arrived at 3:30pm.
The young man helping me could only find 2 of the packages and got a girl named ***** to help look for the 3rd. She didn't want to mess with it. I explained to her that it was a 1.5 hour round trip for me to come to the store since my RV was parked in another county and I needed them to find the misplaced box, it had come in via USPS about 5 hours prior.
She became upset and started screaming at me to leave the store. I did not raise my voice nor speak roughly with her. One of the other customers said out loud to her that if she had just been looking all this time she was griping she probably would have already found it. I asked ***** to call the store owner and she refused, she said the owner wouldn't answer anyway. At 4pm, she locked the doors and said she called the cops on me. I didn't believe it but I moved over to the door where I have a key (my box rental includes 24/7 access) so she could lock up. I wanted to see if she would really drive off with a customer waiting for a package.
However, the police did arrive, said it was a civil issue. The officer in charge asked ***** if she had a corporate phone# and she said "no". Then she said she couldn't lock up because she thought I would break into the store after she left, like I'm a criminal.
Out in the parking lot the officer was rolling his eyes, he said "friendly advice, find another place to do business". ** *********** ****** ******** * ** ****
